 BUSINESS DESCRIPTION AND STRUCTURE

II. Description of the Business Name

Sugar Coated Bites

The word delicacy, as we all know, refers to something pleasing to eat that is

considered rare, highly desirable, or distinctive within a given culture or region. A delicacy

may have an unusual flavor compared to the usual everyday foods. It is especially a choice

food considered with regard to its rarity and costliness. A certain delicacy is being

patrionized by a lot of people due to its ability to satisfy the customers’ cravings and of

course because of its own characteristics that makes it differ from any other product.

During the discussion about our business name, we had our own several ideas,

however it is not that interesting and catchy. Sugar Coated Bites is created since our Carrot

Pancake and Banana Squash Churros will both be coated with sugar that adds a crunchy

texture and extra sweetness to the bite-sized treat. Just basing from the business name, we can

already say that it is delicious, tasty, mouthwatering, appetizing, enjoyable, pleasing and

satisfying.

We decided to start a business that will provide customers the best among any other

products. We tend to inform everyone that the quality of a product is a crucial factor that

influences its success. High-quality products meet or exceed customer expectations and can

lead to customer satisfaction and long-term business success. With these, we will go beyond

our expectations, go bigger, and grow.

 Our sweet shop logo showcases both pancakes and churros, clearly highlighting the

delicious treats we offer. The design is encircled by a pink border, adding a warm and

inviting feel that reflects the sweetness of our brand. This simple yet effective logo perfectly

captures the essence of our shop.

B.Description of the Product

Food is one of the basic necessities of life.Any nourishing substance that is

eaten,drunk,or otherwise taken into the body to sustain life,provide energy,promote growth

etc.Basically,we need food in order to survive,we always lookout for delicious foods

especially if we are craving for something.Therefore,starting a business wherein it is food-

related,for sure it will be patronized by a lot of people.

Carrot Pancake

With our Carrot Pancake, a wonderful take on a classic snack, you may have a

pancake topped with an alternative syrup made with fresh buko (young coconut), which will

serve as an extra sweetness to it. Finely grated carrots not only give these pancakes a pop of

color and a delicate sweetness, but they also provide vital vitamins and minerals. The natural

sweetness of the carrots combined with the creamy smoothness of the buko makes our carrot

pancakes stand out with their lively flavor character. The syrup provides a decadent finishing

touch and a great combination of taste and texture, while the buko topping brings a touch of

the tropics.Carrot pancake is one of our product. We all know that Carrots contains vitamins

like vitamin b, niacinamide and B6, which help our bodies gain energy from foods. B

vitamins are important for growth and healthy skin, hair, nerves and muscles and also fair

source of vitamin C, which keeps our gums, teeth and skin healthy.

Banana Squash Churros

Churros, a popular fried-dough pastry originally from Spain and Portugal, but is now

enjoyed worldwide. They are typically made from a simple dough that is piped through a

star-shaped nozzle, giving them their signature ridged appearance, and then deep-fried until

golden and crispy. But instead of the typical churros, we made our product more exciting and

healthier. Banana Squash Churros are a unique twist on the classic churro, incorporating the

sweet and subtly earthy flavor of banana squash into the dough. This variation results in
churros that have a slightly richer texture and a naturally sweet taste. The churros are still

fried to a golden crisp, offering the traditional crunchy exterior, but with a softer, more tender

interior thanks to the main ingredients. Now, we can enjoy eating churros and be healthy at

the same time. Banana Squash Churros is a unique twist on the classic Spanish dessert. These

churros are made by combining bananas and pureed squash into the choux pastry dough,

giving them a slightly sweetness and earthy flavor. They are deep-fried until golden and

crispy, then coated with a sugar for a delightful finish. The combination of banana and squash

has a richness and natural sweetness, making them a delicious and healthier alternative to

traditional churros.

the Center of San Juan means that residents and visitors can reach us quickly, making it a

convenient stop for those looking to enjoy a delicious meal we also aim to maximize

customer satisfaction and create a delightful experience for everyone who visits our food

business.

SUGAR COATED BITES will be promoted through distributing appealing flyers in

local areas, word of mouth and share engaging contents online, including product highlights

using social media like Facebook and Instagram. These efforts will help establish SUGAR

COATED BITES as a popular brand and build a loyal customer base.

PEOPLE

Our product is the best dessert to people of all ages, from kids to adults. The shop will

be open to wide age range of customers. It's fantastic choice to any occasions when you want

to eat something sweet. Our products are made by hand rather than by machines, they are less
contaminated and they are served fresh. Our company is located close to a highway, to make

it easier for the people to find it. Our products are ideal for people who enjoy sweet and

healthy foods.

PACKAGING

The packaging for the sugar-coated bites, banana squash churros, and carrot pancake

products features a cohesive design that highlights their unique qualities in our business logo,

our product is packaged in white disposable paper box, and the packaging is also easy to open

and resealable with the business logo on top of it.

POSITIONING

The owners of SUGAR COATED BITES CORPORATION have made the decision

to launch their business in the second floor of the San Juan Municipality building, aiming not

only for their own benefit but also to enrich the local community, particularly students and

residents. This location allows them to engage more customers. By positioning themselves in

this area, they hope to create a welcoming atmosphere where students can gather, study, and

enjoy delicious treats together. SUGAR COATED BITES CORPORATION seeks to be a

positive force in San Juan, blending business success with community enrichment.

PROCEDURES IN MAKING THE PRODUCT

STEP 1: Boil the Squash until it softens and after boiling mash it along with banana.
STEP 2: Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and add the quash and banana.
Step 3: Add the wet ingredients to the mixture and after that, mix all the ingredients.
Step 4: Put it in a piping bag.
STEP 5: Fry it in a hot oil and wait till it turns brow.

PROCEDURES IN MAKING THE PRODUCT

STEP 1: Prepare all the materials needed in making Carrot pancake.

STEP 2: Prepare also the ingredients to be used.
STEP 3 : Combine the ingredients in a bowl.The amount of the ingredients depends on the
desired proportion.
STEP 4 : Add the grated carrots in the mixing bowl.
STEP 5: Mix well.
STEP 6: Let it sit for 2 minutes.
STEP 7: Put some butter in a fry-pan and melt it.
STEP 8: Cook the carrot pancake in low heat.
STEP 9: Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
