 Eleven years of IT work experience with Oracle Technologies, HCL technologies, Versant technologies, SUPERVALU India

Testing. I am currently working at Oracle Technologies as an Oracle Retail Trainer/QA lead /IC3 for products RMS(Retail

 Leading QA activities for RPM at Oracle technologies which involved working with teams located across geographies and

Waltz Disney’s SIMBA, is Oracle Retail’s biggest success stories in the US. Disney has implemented its supply chain, MOM, store
solutions and planning solutions with the help of oracle retail V12.1.0. The solution supports business users who are spread across
650 Disney stores and its two warehouses .The Stores are put up in Disney world, Disney Parks and Resorts and Disney cruise lines.
(ORMS, ORWMS, ORPM, ORDF, MFP OSIM, ORTM, and Allocation).

CHALLENGES and RESPONSIBILITY

 Part of the initial HCL SME team to get transitioned from waltz Disney world. The transition was set up in phases of absorption,
replication, observation and steady state as a part of HCL –Asset policy. Priority tasks included getting knowledge transfer done
from Disney SME’s and cross –training them back, creation of Run-Books for SIMBA-RMS and SIMBS-non RMS applications
which needed to reflect Application and Functional overview, architecture of SIMBA, Core business functionalities, Integration
points to in house systems like Mallory, SAP, Kleinschmidt,D3 ,customs, Item-cubiscan and others.
 Supporting SIMBA applications which included fixing tickets raised through HP service manager for Retek applications, meeting
SLA’s and OLA’s , troubleshooting RIB failures ,troubleshooting appworx scheduled jobs during nightly batch and regular batch
run, posting sales to RTP, troubleshooting tickets raised by business users raised on SIM printers, application, security ,Login
issues , VM patching ,Disaster Recovery ,Appworx and Maestro maintenance which being scheduling tools .
 Design, Development, Deployment of some minor enhancement’s from customers including cost change upload process, RPM-
RTP future price processing upload for new stores and item –cubical upload to RMS which earlier used 2 a separate business
process (validation +upload).A new process was designed to integrate the same into a single process and send the bad file back
to the business users.

testing RMS ,FDS (an Integration database ) ,EA and CID (legacy systems for Items and Supply chain ) ,Vendor collaboration an d
Data Rationalization .DR was the first step of Oracle Retail implementation at Supervalu. Cluttered data from EA and CID were
collaborated and rationalized and loaded into Oracle Retail database.
Idea Sales - A web portal Project .A unique initiative taken by SUPERVALU to spread across the various Ideas implemented across
its 13 banners. This initiative would help the Business users across different banners to report in their sales and Submit th e ideas
so that the business initiatives would span across the organization

 Leading a team of 7 across Supervalu, for RPM which included team members for Supervalu, Wipro and UST global.
 Attending Triage meeting with Onsite, Higher management to discuss priorities, resource management, Work allocation, Defect
reviews.
 Working along with Wipro Enabler for consulting, at Wipro for 6 months with Client been Supervalu
 Design, Execution of Test pack across All RPM,RSM functionality (UI/Batch/Database)
 Conducting various Training sessions across Supervalu US, SUPERVALU India, Wipro as well as UST team to get a hang Of
Oracle Retail Price management.
 The team recorded a total of 210 defects with more than 40 valid base defects registered to oracle.

New Buying System (NBS) (Role: Test Engineer) is an extensive project on which the Tesco UK and ROI business will be
handled .NBS would be going forward an End to End ERP where in Tesco will incorporate Retek, BizTalk, abnitio thus part by part
replacing the legacy Mainframes by the new technology such that they are in sync with their Competitors and keep themselves
ahead in the business.
GFO (Group Forecasting and Ordering): TOM (Tesco Operating Model) (Role :Test Engineer)has been developed for Retail
Supply chain Management, The TOM architecture will cater to End to End Functionality in Tesco’s Retail Business all over the world
expect UK/ROI. In a Nutshell, GFO is a mainline system for forecasting Sales and suggesting orders to RMS ERP. GFO, a derivative
from UK-CR (Mainframe) with Micro focus being the Unix tool used to run JCL’s with DB2 as its database. GFO is a part of the TOM
architecture which Tesco used when it started its operations in US and then for the other countries .The Project was executed with
Tesco /Infosys Collaboration.

Corporate Purchase (Role: Development Engineer) is an Automated Tool developed which Tesco HSC uses to procure
products from its vendors. Corporate Purchase consisted of Requester, Approver, CPTEAM, CPMANAGER, LEADERSHIP,
DEPARTMENT HEAD pages with unique Accesses. The process would Involve vendors mailed regarding the product procured,
Admin maintaining the Information to check and validate and later Finance paying the Final Settlement to the Vendors. Cost
Center Page, Item Master page, Supplier, Currency were the master pages for Data entry on to the Software .I was involved in
Designing the web pages, Deployment of the software on the server.SQL 2000 was used to execute the back end queries and
ADO.NET as the integrator.
