I am an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying with over 07 years of
experience in Commercial, Residential, Infrastructure, and fit-out projects across the Qatar and Sri
Lanka, I am skilled in both pre and post-contract. Excelling in high-pressure environments, I am known
for my adaptability, collaborative approach, and commitment to meeting deadlines. I am eager to contribute
to the growth and success of the organization.

WORK EXPERIENCE.
 PRIME CONTRACTING & TRADING S.P.C ( QATAR ).
Position: Quantity Surveyor (May 2021 - Sep 2024)
Project: Construction of Prime Squire Commercial Building (267 M QAR ).
Subject: Post- Contract.

Take off Quantity as per drawing and compare with the BOQ.
• Preparation and submission of monthly interim payment Application (IPA).
• Prepare the Bill of Quantity.
• Managing sub-contractor’s payment certification.
• Maintain day works records and Material on site report.
• Involved in Variation Submission and Approval
• Carryout Necessary Follow-Ups with Request/Delivery of Ordered Materials.

Position: Quantity Surveyor (Feb 2018 – Mar 2020)
Project: Proposed residential building and infrastructure
Subject: Verification and Preparation of BOQ for Pre and Post- Contract
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Pre – Contract
 Preparation of Bill of Quantity.
 Cost Estimating and Tender Documentation.
 Sending the RFI and Clarification to Client and Follow Up for Necessary Information.
 Review and study Tender specification, drawing, BOQ, preamble notes and condition of contract.
 Take off quantities from drawings by using Auto CAD & Plan Swift.
 Documentation for Pre – qualification for contract and controlling Vendor data base.
 Prepared inquires to be sent to subcontractors and suppliers and evaluate quotations on return, negotiate
 Participating tender internal and external meeting.
 Preparing the query sheet for missing items.
 Sending inquires to the consultant.
 Coordinate with Consultant, Suppliers and Client

 Prepare Variation Submission to the employer’s professional team including finding the maximum return for the
contractor.

 Revising the BOQ for the project of initially handing over projects.

and Sinhala).
