ENGLISH LEVEL 1

UNIT 1:
1. Your typical day
Everyday morning, i get up at 6:30. I’m not an early bird but i always try my
best to get up as early as possible. So that i can have more time to do everything
like. I start my day with a 15 minute exercise. After brushing my teeth and
washing my face. And i usually have breakfast at 7:00. Then i go to school by
bus and be there at about 7:30. My class stop at 11:10, and i have lunch at
school. In the afternoon, my class start at 13:00 and usually end at 4:30. When
the school day ends, I go to home and i spend my time on cooking dinner for
my friend and we usually have dinner at 7:00. After dinner, we often watch TV
and walk around the house. After that, I always prepare my lessons plan and go
to bed at 11:00. On weekends, I usually go out with my family or friends.
UNIT 2:
1. Your future job
Becoming a lawyer is my biggest dream. Everyone will have different career
dreams, I have thought about it many times as well. And finally, I choose a lawyer
as my target in the future. To be honest, there are many reasons why I choose a
lawyer as my future job. First, I happened to be watching a lawyer program. They
can protect the interests of the poor, bring justice to the innocent, … I see that this
is very wonderful and right. They can stand up for others because of the truth and
truth in life. Second, if I become a lawyer, I can also protect my family and the
people I love. Therefore, in order to fulfill my dream, I tried hard to get into
Faculty of Law. After that, I will aim to graduate with a good diploma. I know that
lawyers are a high-pressure field with many challenges. But I love and will forever
choose this job. I will fulfill my life’s dream!
UNIT 3:
1. Your free time activities
In my leisure time, I usually enjoy reading books and listening to music. I find that
both activities help me relax and take my mind off work. I especially love reading
fiction because it allows me to escape into a different world. I also like spending
time outdoors when the weather is nice. Sometimes, I go for a walk or cycle in the
park near my house. These outdoor activities not only help me stay active but also
allow me to clear my mind.
2. Your hobbies
I really enjoy listening to music. However, I don’t have any standards in genre
selection, I like to listen to any kind of music as long as it’s good. When I’m happy,
I usually listen to songs with cheerful melodies. When I’m sad, I often listen to
ballad songs. Every morning when I walk or do my housework, I always carry
headphones with me and listen to them. A day with music, I study very effectively.
I am keen on hearing them because all the songs bring back lovely memories.
Listening to new songs is also awesome. You can feel your life is more beautiful
thanks to music.
UNIT 4:
Your house or apartment
I have lived in a house with my parents when I was born. It is located in the center
city. My house looks very pretty with yellow wall. There are three floors in my
house. On the first floor, there is a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The
living room has a small sofa, a television about 42 inch with a beautiful picture. In
the kitchen, there is a medium fridge with a dining – table. On the right of the
kitchen, there is a cupboard and a stove. A bathroom is equipped a shower and a
bathtub very cleanly. To the second foor, it has two bedrooms and a fresh toilet. In
each room, there is a big bed in the middle of the room with a small table. It has a
lovely light on the table. On the top floor, there is a washing room and a drying
ground. Even though my house is not too big, it is the most wonderful to me in the
world.
UNIT 5:
1. A talented person
One talented person I know is my friend-Long. We met at school, and we have
been close friends ever since. He is a very skilled person, especially in singing.
I still vividly remember the first time I heard his sing. Moreover, he is very
good at english. He can rap too. His talented just blew me away. That left a
strong impression on me. While studying to exam, we helped each other. I
taught him math, he taught me english. Sometimes he even sings to us to relieve
stress. We finally got into our dream major. He never give up, even when facing
 challengens. What I admire most about Long is his effort. He’s also very
generous. He always help me with things I don’t know. I’m really grateful to
him.
2. A family member that you feel close to
The family member I get along well with is my brother. We share a close
sibling relationship and have always been each other’s confidants and best
friends. My brother is a warm-hearted and cheerful person with a great sense
of humor. We often engage in various activities together, such as watching
movies, going shopping, and taking trips to explore new places. We share
similar interests and hobbies, which makes our time together enjoyable and
fulfilling. Moreover, our open communication allows us to express our
thoughts and feelings without judgment, fostering a deeper connection. We
get along so well because we have a strong bond built on
trust,understanding, and unconditional love. We support and encourage each
other in pursuing our dreams and overcoming challenges.
UNIT 6:
1. Your friend
The name of my best friend is Linh. She is my good friend and takes care of me a
lot. She always help me. I met her when we were in class 6 and became best friend.
She is my true friend because she understands me very well. I like her very much. I
have never had any friends like her ever before. Our parents respects us very much
and like our friendship. She is so precious for me and I never want to lose her.
Whenever I get absent from the classroom, she helps me in doing all the left home
works and class works.
She is much similar to me in many aspects. She never argues me and explains me
well anything which I get stuck. She is an open minded girl and never feels bad for
my misbehave. She is very entertaining in nature and makes me laugh through her
interesting jokes and talks in the spare time. She is very cute and attractive, attracts
everyone through her smile and nice way of talk. She promotes me always to do
better in the classroom and exams. We are good in sports and academic activities.
She takes my opinions in her every tough work to do in the right way. We manage
to share things in our difficult times. We always perform better in the class tests
and main exams.
2. Your day yesterday
 Yesterday, I got up at six . I usually get up at five but
yesterday was Sunday. I did morning exercise and have a big
breakfast . After that, I went to park with my family. I played
many different games and my parents and me had lunch
together at KFC restaurant . In the evening , I attended a
birthday party of my friend . I went to bed at 11 . So
wonderful!
UNIT 7
1. Your family
Hello! I am very happy and proud to introduce hou to my family. My family
consists of 4 members, which includes my parents, my younger brother, and
me. My father’s name is Quy, and he is 44 years old. He is business man.
My dad loves drinking coffee in the morning. So my mom’s name is Xuyen,
she is nurse. And it’s interesting when my father and my mother are 44 years
old. My mom especially loves to cook and she cooks really well. And about
my brother, his name is phú, he is 12 years old. He is student at grape 7.
Last, I’m phuong anh, 18 years old, law student in hou. Because my school
schedule is quite busy, I only go home on weekends. On Sunday, my family
and my uncle family usually cook a big meal to gather together. I’m happy
to be with my family. I love my family very much.

2. Your family’s favorite activities

One of my family members, my elder brother, Hung likes doing many things
when he has free time. First of all, in his free time, he likes playing some
sports, such as soccer, badminton or basketball, with her friends. Sports not
only make him stronger but also connect him with his friends who have the
same hobbies. They sometimes go riding in order that they can combine
sporting activity and sightseeing. If the weather is not fine enough for him to
hang out with his friends, he likes to read books. He has a big bookshelf
with many kinds of books but he prefers science books.

UNIT 8
1. The food you like
My favorite food is Phở. It’s one of the specialties in Vietnamese cuisine. It has
been popular with not only Vietnamese people but also foreign tourists. Phở
consists of rice noodles, sliced beef, broth made from beef bones and onions. All
the ingredients are put in a bowl with onions on top of the beef. There are a bunch
of places where you can eat Phở, and the prices greatly vary. The tastes of all
ingredients are in perfect harmony. It has a delicate taste and smells so good that I
can’t resist it whenever I go past. Phở is also nutritious enough to be a typical
breakfast in Vietnam.
