With about 7 years of experience in the Core Technical Development and
Implementation department of the Company, I am currently managing Offshore
Development group of the company. I started in the company as a programmer involved
in developing the core product for providing Sales Automation Solution for companies.
And have moved up the ranks from a programmer to manage the offshore development
group in a short span of less than 5 years. During this quick but gradual career growth I
have handled wide variety of assignments and have had the benefit of being exposed to
several functions.

· Technical Project Manager (India) -Sept 97 – Jan 2000


- Responsible for the offshore development activities for the company in Bangalore,
India.
- Responsible for appraisals and career growth of resources.
- Responsible for setting up standards and procedures for development.
- Instrumental in maintaining clear communication channel between onsite and
offshore personnel.
- Involved in day to day business and technical decisions for the offshore
development.
- Resource planning for offshore projects, and also providing resources for branches of
Dendrite in U.S.A, France, U.K, Germany and Belgium.

company’s technical personnel.

- Development of a Web based Intranet Data maintenance tool using CGI/Perl. Total
effort for this project was 12 staff months.
- 16 bit to 32-bit conversion of the entire Sales Automation tools. Average effort for
a project was about 8 staff month.
- Development of Logging module in VC++ using MSMQ.
- Application software upgrades for Powerbuilder and Y2K compliance. Average
effort for a project was about 6 staff month.
- Internal projects like, the Automated Entrance Test program and Resource
Allocation tool.

- Lead a team of ten software developers for the development of a multi country ,
multi language Sales Automation System for a Pharmaceutical company. Total effort
of 120 staff months.
- Responsible for preparing schedules, technical project planning/coordination,
supervision of software developers, project compliance, system/technical
design/development, project documentation, training, project administration and
reporting.
- Responsible for communicating with other project leaders in various European
countries and making decisions on various technical tasks on a day to day basis.

- Developed an Order Entry System in Powerbuilder 3.0. Development task involved
requirement gathering, designing the Data Model using ERWin, designing the
screens for the system, coding the system in Powerbuilder 3.0, writing documents
like the Technical Functional Specification, Unit Test Plan, Implementation design
document, Release Notes and Client Integration document.

- Maintained and enhanced the Customer Support Tool, called SAM (Support Account
Managers).
- Responsible for the new release of the product. This involved scheduling release
dates, performing bug fixes, enhancements to existing tools in the product and
developing additional tools. The release also required managing resources for quality
control and documentation.
