LANGUAGE CLUB

Tell me your free time and interests?
I spend most of the time I am at a loose end watching Korean dramas because I have
started learning Korean. I find it very effective to expand lexical resources through
films and movies.
Part 3: You are a member of the language club. You are talking to three other
members in the language club chat room. Talk to them using sentences. Use 30 – 40
words.
A: Why did you choose this course?
I chose this course because I've always been fascinated by languages and their
cultural significance. Learning new languages is not only the key to connecting with
people worldwide but also a gateway to understanding different cultures and
broadening one's horizons.
B: How have you found the course so far? What’s been difficult?
When I was surfing a website, the advertisement for this course just popped up on the
screen. After reading the description carefully, I made the decision on enrolling in
the course as it was appropriate to my needs. The most challenging part has been
speaking fluently in front of a crowd as well as mastering the intonation.
C: What are you hoping to do when you finish the course?
At the end of this course, I hope that I can utilize the knowledge I have learned to
communicate in confidence with foreigners. Moreover, expanding my horizons about
cultures is one of my desires.

for the upcoming club lecture. The topic I'd like to propose is "Effective
Communication in Multicultural Environments." In today's globalized world,
understanding and mastering cross-cultural communication is essential, and I believe I

Dear Sir,

My name is Nguyen Mai Dieu Hien and I have been a student of your English center
for 2 months. I am writing this email to express my feelings and opinions concerning
the English course that I registered for. In addition, I would like to sincerely thank
everyone in the center for their efforts and sacrifices on our behalf.

I wanted to share some news with you regarding the English course I had registered
for at A Level Speaking Center. Unfortunately, due to a sudden change in my work
schedule and family commitments, I am unable to attend the course as initially
planned. I have the a blue as I was looking forward to improving my English speaking
skills. The course seemed promising, and I had high hopes for it.

While I can not attend this course at the moment, I am determined to continue my
language-learning journey in a more flexible manner, perhaps through online
resources and self-study.
