Present Continuous

We use present continuous to talk about events that are happening now and future
plans.
For example,
An event happening now: I am eating.
A future plan: I am going to college tomorrow.
Past Present Future

- Yesterday - Now - Tomorrow
- Last week - Today - Next week
- Last year - Next year
To form the present continuous, we use to be in present simple and a verb + ing.
For example,
I work. → I am working.
I am

Negatives
To form negatives in present continuous, we use not after to be.
For example,
I am sleeping. → I am not sleeping.

To ask questions in present continuous, we use to be at the start of the sentence.
For example,
I am eating. → Am I eating?
He is eating -> Is he eating?
