Types of averages (or) Measures of central tendency:-

The following are the important types of averages.


1) Arithmetic mean. (Simple arithmetic mean. Weighted arithmetic mean.)
2) Geometric mean. (Simple geometric mean. Weighted geometric mean.)
3) Harmonic mean
4) Median
5) Quartiles, deciles and percentiles.
6) Mode
