0 LEADING
Leading can defined as motivating and directing the members of the
organization so that they contribute to the achievement of the goals of
the organization. Good leaders can bring out the best in their team
members and motivated them to work together to achieve a common
goal.

Leaders at adidas act as role models, empowering all people to realize


their possibilities. It is important to grow all employees to act as leaders
and all people managers to empower their teams so that everyone can
realize their possibilities in company.

Adidas established leadership groups in their company to make sure


high-quality leadership and empower their teams so that everyone can
realize their possibilities in company. Their leadership groups consist of
the ‘Core Leadership Group’ (CLG) and the ‘Extended Leadership
Group’ (ELG). The CLG partners with the Executive Board, leading the
execution of business strategy while the ELG collaborates across
markets and functions, leading the execution of strategic initiatives.
Furthermore, the ELG drives continuous improvement and consistency
throughout the organization.

Adidas provide a variety of leadership development opportunities for all


levels of management in all markets and departments. Include ‘People
Leader Experience’ (‘PLE’), ‘Manager Development Experience’
(‘MDE’), ‘Director Development Experience’ (‘DDE’), and ‘Executive
Development Experience’ (‘EDE’). These interactive learning
experiences support the development of leadership skills that are directly
linked to the participants’ current roles and responsibilities as well as
being aligned to values.
6.0 CONTROLLING
Controling can defined as process through which managers regulate
organizational activities to make them consistent with expectations and
to help them achieve predetermined standards of performance. To ensure
successful control in business organization, manager need to implement
and follow criteria and avoid barriers to control that can harm the
production of the business organization.

Adidas continuously monitor and control the compliance with their


standards by conducting material tests in independent laboratories.
Adidas always tests materials before producing new products in order to
ensure the quality of products. Adidas continues to develop and create
value in continuing production, They want to expand their flexibility, be
more sensitive to changing trends, and create economies of scale for the
group's retail activities.

In 2012, Adidas foster a corporate culture based on our values of


performance, passion, integrity and diversity as we are convinced this is
crucial to stimulate innovation, team spirit and engagement. Adidas uses
hierarchical power to influence employee behaviour by compensating
them, which is bureaucratic control. They use the Global Salary
Management System to set the market value of employee roles and
compensation based on performance.
7.0 CONCLUSION
In conclusion, Adidas has been able to continue increase its popularity
and establish itself as one of the most recognizable and reliable sports
brands in the world. Adidas’s company can reach in this level because of
the way they lead their employee and have a strategic to produce
greatest product. All product that Adidas established attract the attention
of customers because of their creativity and widely accepted in market
internationally. Could say that , Adidas management has runs smoothly
year by year.
