Practical No: 1

Object:

Create a simple document file using MS word. Type four lines paragraph. Paste it five
times. Apply text formatting including font name, font style and font size to each paragraph.
Save and print it.

Procedure:
 Turn on your computer: Press the power button on your computer to start it. Wait for the

system to boot up and the desktop to appear.

 Log in to your system: If prompted, enter your username and password to log in to your
computer.
 Open Microsoft Word: Locate and click on the Microsoft Word icon on your desktop or in
the Start menu to launch the application.
 Create a new document: Once Microsoft Word is open, click "File" in the top left corner,
then select "New" and choose "Blank Document" to create a new document.
 Type a four-line paragraph: Type your desired four-line paragraph in the blank document.
 Copy and paste the paragraph: Highlight the paragraph, right-click and select "Copy," then
paste it five more times by right-clicking and selecting "Paste."
 Apply text formatting: Select each paragraph and apply formatting, such as changing the
font name, style, and size.
 Save and print the document: Click "File," select "Save As," choose the location and file
name, then click "Save." Finally, click "File" and choose "Print" to print the document.
