In Urdu language it is called “Kahaani”. It is


actually used to express thoughts, real life
experiences and writers point of view regarding
any aspect of life.
Real life application:
Story is prose style, we don’t use rhythmic style
in it. In fact it is simple prose writing which is
sometime short and some other time long piece

Reading of the story
“The Bewitched Jacket” is a short story by
Dino Buzzati, an Italian writer known for,
among other things, short stories that often
contain elements of science fiction, fantasy
or horror, with some of them fitting the
category of magical realism. This story is
about a man who buys a remarkable suit
that allows him to live the good life, but at
a high cost. Here’s a summary of “The
Bewitched Jacket”.

Answer: The storyteller thought that the tailor was a very
congenial man.

producing banknotes. This was an incredible thing. That is why
the storyteller felt that he had become part of a fairy tale.

storyteller spent the evening taking out banknotes from his
pocket.

he was sleepless either because of the presentiment of
danger or because of his tormented conscience. (kon-
