We respectfully request that this correspondence be considered for the issuance of the C1D and B1/B2 Visas.
The person named below is a qualified and experienced welder Marine Services under contract with Inter-Marine
US. Inter-Marine US has been contracted to perform the marine refit work and upgrade Services.
Pursuant to the terms of the contract, Inter-Marine US provides Services qualified technicians experienced in the
installation of these marine units and equipment to complete these critical projects int a timely manner. The
individual presenting this letter is an experienced naval Services selected by Inter-Marine US to undertake the
installation for the equipment.
As all operational Cruise vessels have “Ship Systems” predominantly of European manufacture, it is therefore a
requirement to regularly update the systems to meet with USCG and IMO MMARPOL certifications. Due to the nature
of the upgrading, it is necessary for our technicians to work on the vessel during normal operation within international
waters and/or drydock facilities outside the United States.
During his brief stay in the United States, Mr. ELIAS, MARCONE will not engage in any productive employment in the
United States Further, his presence will not cause displacement of any American workers. Throughout his stay in the
United States, he will remain an employee of Inter-Marine US and will not receive any compensation or benefits from
U.S Visa is issued.
