Job Description: Paid Internship Program in Web Development


Position: Web Development Intern Application Deadline: 20.12.2024.
Location: WFO / Remote
Duration: 3-6 Months
Stipend: Competitive (₹ 5,000 – 15,000 /month) (Negotiable for Experience Candidate)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• PHP & Laravel Framework: Advanced knowledge of PHP programming, with proficiency in
Laravel for building scalable web applications. Understanding of MVC architecture, routing,
middleware, and Eloquent ORM is required.
• MySQL: Strong skills in database design, writing complex queries, and optimizing database
performance.
• HTML5 & Tailwind CSS: Expertise in creating responsive, accessible designs using semantic
HTML and utility-first CSS frameworks.
• JavaScript (ES6+): Solid understanding of modern JavaScript for DOM manipulation, event
handling, and implementing interactivity.
• API Development & Integration: Hands-on experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs,
including third-party services like payment gateways, SMS APIs, and social media APIs.
• Version Control (Git): Proficiency in using Git for version control, including branching,
merging, and handling pull requests.
• Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and executing unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Debugging & Optimization: Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools and
optimizing application performance.
• Deployment Tools: Basic knowledge of deploying applications on platforms like AWS, Heroku,
or cPanel is a plus.
• Live Project Experience: Must have completed at least one live project demonstrating a
combination of the above skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Web Development Intern, you will:

1. Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.


2. Create and integrate RESTful APIs into web solutions.
3. Design and optimize database schemas for efficiency and scalability.
4. Implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
5. Debug, test, and resolve issues in web applications.
6. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement technical solutions.
7. Document processes, code, and functionality for reference and future development.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Step 1: Initial Screening

Step 2: Technical Interview
