The following is the Short List containing the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to
be called for Endurance Test, prior to the Physical Measurement & Physical Efficiency Test, for selection to the post of
CIVIL EXCISE OFFICE (TRAINEE)(MALE) - THRISSUR (Category No. 307/2023 ) in EXCISE on Rs.27900-63700/-
on the basis of the OMR test held on 17-02-2024.

The Register Numbers are arranged in their numerical sequence and the arrangement does not in any way, indicate

Note :- (1) Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of
application on absolute basis. Inclusion of Register numbers in the Short List does not confer any right on the
candidate for inclusion in the Ranked List.

Note :- (2) The list has been prepared by including the number of candidates who have secured top marks in the
OMRTest held on 17.02.2024.

Note :- (3) 247 (Two Hundred and Forty Seven) candidates who have scored top most marks in the OMR Test are
included in the Short List.The Marks secured by the last candidate in the list is 50.For the purpose of satisfying the
rules of reservation of appointment to Scheduled castes,Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (and other
reserved categories if any), necessary Supplementary list is prepared by including sufficient numbers of candidates
from lower mark ranges in the order of merit of the candidates belonging to such classes.

Note :- (4) Candidates included in the Short List should present in person for Endurance Test. Date, Time and Venue
of Endurance Test will be intimated through SMS, Profile Message and through Print and Electronic Media. The
shortlisted candidates should download their admission tickets for the Endurance Test from their OTR profiles logging
on to the official website - www.keralapsc.gov.in of the Kerala Public Service Commision and appear for the test with
necessary documents.

Note :- (5) According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed but answer scripts can be
rechecked after the publication of Ranked List. Detailed instructions will be published in the Ranked List to be
published for the post.

Note :- (6)Candidates included in the Short List who belong to Other Backward Classes are required to produce Non-
Creamy Layer Certificate issued by Village Officer as per GO(P) No.81/09/SCSTDD dated. 26.09.2009,SC/ST
Candidates are required to produce Community Certificate issued under Rule 4 of Kerala (SC/ST) Regulations of
issue of Community Certificate Rules 2002 by the Revenue authority not below the Rank of Thasildar and candidates
claiming reservation under EWS category are required to produce EWS Certificate issued by Village Officer as
perGO(Ms) No.2/2020/P&ARD dated 12.02.2020 along with other documents at the time of OTR Verification.

Note :- (7) Copy of answer scripts of the OMR Test held on 17-02-2024 will be issued to those candidates who, apply
for the same remitting the prescribed fee after approval of the Ranked List.

Note :- (8) No candidates are invalidated as per invalidation Notification No : ER2-3/9/2024-KPSC dated 27.06.2024.
