NOTE:
UNRA will always endeavor to deliver ferry services in accordance with the above schedules
and the loading procedure is done on first come - first serve basis. However, occasionally there
may be circumstances or factors which may necessitate altering the schedules or loading
procedure. These circumstances may include the following:
1. Natural factors such water levels which may increase or reduce affecting the
docking/undocking process hence adjustments in set off times.
2. Low traffic levels may lead to reducing the number of trips for purposes of achieving
efficiency or High traffic levels may lead to increasing of the number of trips to ensure
that most traffic is transported within the extents possible. Both interventions may cause
adjustments in set off times and closure times.
3. If balancing of load carried on the ferry cannot be achieved when the ferry is loaded on a
first come - first serve, then the Ferry Captain has to prioritize safety and load the ferry
without exactly following the arrival queue.
4. Government essential services such as security, health, etc. or Government VIPs e.g.
The President, Ministers, MPs, etc. are generally given priority.
5. In case, Government issues directives concerning restrictions on public movements
6. In case of Government law enforcement activities within the ferry operations
