They use the term to establish a benchmark and take their markings. We hope you will rediscover
your benchmark here.
'Theeya’ – The Creation Village, has been created keeping in mind the need for a space, where
people can ensconce themselves for work. You could be a writer, painter, musician, chef, engineer,
anyone at all. Immerse yourself with nature and test your Creation boundaries. We aim to create a
Community of like-minded people that could lead to possible Collaborations.
Ideally suited as a long stay destination - 7 days and more, but we are open to people wanting to get
a feel of 'Theeya' for a shorter time period too. We provide a fixed menu, along with large dwelling
spaces that allow you a vast uninterrupted view of the lake Vadivali. We are spread over 6 Acres,
nestled in the Western Ghats of India, 120 Kms from Mumbai, and 65 Kms from Pune.
It is a tranquil eco-system, with the accompanying sound, being that from birds and insects.
Being a remote area we do face frequent power cuts here, but do have a Generator back-up. We
shall attempt to give you continuous power at all times.
Also, there is limited mobile network (accessible on some parts of the property), thus allowing you no
disturbances, unless you choose. We do have Internet access through Wi-Fi, but do experience
outages some odd times.
We have a resident chef trained at WGSHA Manipal, aided by able Sous Chefs, waiting to excite your
palate with a range of local and world cuisine. We grow a fair amount of produce on the property and
aim to give you ‘Farm to Fork’ experience.
The rate is decided upon, according to the needs of the occupant. This would typically depend on
duration of stay, food preference, additional services required etc. We follow a ‘Diminishing Tariff’,
(The more you stay the lesser the Daily Tariff).

6. While we have a well-stocked library, get along loads of books. If you happen to take one,
leave one with a nice note
7. Theeya has a temperate climate through the year. We DO have ACs in the rooms, but
encourage you to experience the natural climes. (lesser electricity = happy universe)
8. We are NOT a ‘Resort’, so do not have room-service, 24 hr kitchen services, TV etc
9. Hoard your ciggies and beverages as per your tastes (mixers will be provided for, at a charge)
10. In case you are getting help (drivers etc) along, please check for space availability before
hand
11. Let us know about Food Preferences: including allergies, veg/non-veg (meats that are ok for
you, and those that are not) We will make our best efforts to cater to your preferences.
(We Strictly DO NOT serve Beef)
12. Special requests if any, need to be mentioned at the time of booking
13. We have a Call-Free Zone (in the common eating area), request you to keep phone usage
down only to screen, and not voice here
14. NO loud music permitted (though we would love to hear your tunes)
15. NO irregular food timings…. We have a fixed time for meals, which will be strictly followed
(our staff needs their rest too)
16. NO SWIMMING, or getting into the LAKE at all costs (the local fish do not have a taste for city
slickers)
17. Take cognisance of your fellow dwellers while Smoking, which is permitted on the premises.
NO SMOKING on the Beds
18. No Feeding of our Dogs on the property (they are weight conscious)
Apologies for the Numerous NOs’, just that, our endeavour is, for All the Dwellers at the Village to have a fruitful
and comfortable stay

Diminishing Tariff Structure
We have 4 rooms, in two different structures, well spread out from each other. Our aim is to provide
you all the Peace and Tranquillity that you seek.
The tariff reduces the more you stay, so typically the 1st to 3rd days are at one rate, then 4th to 6th, then 7th to 9th
and so on.

Our tariff is INCLUSIVE OF TAXES, and INCLUDES ALL MEALS along with TEA/ COFFEE
As we encourage a longer stay, the Tariff over 14 days is on Request Only, and that is customised
