1 In March 2021, we released a $37 product to our audience. The
response was explosive and totally unexpected as we surpassed $180k
in less than 2 weeks. I know it’s daunting to look at those numbers, especially
if you’re starting from scratch with zero following or experience.

Here’s what you need to know about digital product creation: you don’t
actually need any of those things. Not an expert? That’s fine. No years of
experience to cite? Totally okay.

The first thing we need to do is to define what success looks like:

• What are we trying to achieve?
• And how will we be able to measure and articulate that success so our
audience can achieve similar results with our digital products?

This is always where we start. The mindset and big vision. Start with the end in
mind.

Success for us is always motivated by unapologetic ambition that leads to

freedom. That means something different to everyone. Here at BossBabe,
we love our morning routines, our free time for self-care, and unlimited
financial abundance. Digital products have been pivotal in allowing us to not
only dream bigger for ourselves and our audience, but they’ve allowed us to
deliver on that promise too.

Action Item
Start with the end in mind. Create your benchmark for success. What do you really want?
EXAMPLE: Success means ease. That’s our end goal. We wanted to create a product that invited
ease into the lives and businesses of our community.

The thing about your superpower is that
it can be anything you’re good at without
experience.

2 When you know what success looks like and understand how to measure
it according to your own benchmarks, the next step is to hone in on your
natural superpower. This is why experience, credentials, and follower
count don’t matter. Those are pieces of a resume, but you don’t need a
resume to create a digital product.

What you’re selling isn’t your experience, it’s just you.

You’re monetizing the information and natural abilities you already have in
that brilliant brain of yours. Acknowledging your inherent superpowers is
what is going to build the bridge between where your audience is right now
and what end result you’re going to lead them to with your digital product.

Our superpower is that we’re able to achieve organic viral growth on

Instagram.

The thing about your superpower is that it can be anything you’re good
at without experience. Instagram has always been our favorite. It’s always
been our go-to method for growth - even in the early days. So while we have
experience we can leverage now, it wasn’t always like that.

 Again, at no point do you need to delay creating your digital product because
you need a specific credential or feel like you can’t be taken seriously without
a few more years of experience.

Action Item
Acknowledge the things you do everyday, every week, every month. What comes easy to
you, doesn’t automatically come easy to someone else. This is why it’s your superpower.

What are you inherently good at? Where do you naturally excel? This can be something you
have experience or training in, but that is not a requirement. If you get stuck, ask friends or
your closest biz besties.

3 The next piece here is how you’ll actually hone in on what to create for
your digital product. There are three questions you can ask yourself to
zero your focus on what problem you want your digital product to address.

1. What challenges do our audience experience prior to

purchasing our product?

2. What makes our product stand out against competitors?

3. What does our decision-making process look like?

When we were brainstorming Insta Influence Kit, we knew that we wanted

to leverage our Instagram superpowers. From our recent $180k+ launch,
we started with the end in mind: making Instagram easier. We know our
community struggles with consistency and confidence. Since empowerment
is one of our core pillars here at BossBabe that directly translates into how
you show up for yourself and your business on social media.

The biggest hurdle to our community when it comes to Instagram is their

difficulty with consistency. It is hard to keep showing up, day after day, to
share their message. Particularly when they have businesses to run, lives to
live, households to manage, captions to write, and graphics to create. Phew!

 So we set out to create something that
could help with that: a pack of Instagram
graphic templates that would allow users
to plug-and-play and drastically reduce
the time it took to batch their Instagram
content. All without needing to learn
design or hire an expensive designer.

More than a simple graphic pack though, we wanted to make sure Insta
Influence Kit would be incomparable to anything else out there. How could
we make this stand out from competitors?

The answer: make sure our users knew exactly how to use this to get
BossBabe level results.

So we included an 8-part video series

including behind-the-scenes tutorials of how
BossBabe structures social posts using our own
templates, how we batch produce a month of
content at a time, and how to further customize
and use the template pack.

When it came down to it, aesthetic consistency

is something that our audience struggles with yet it’s something that we have
always excelled at. Their frustration is an invitation for us to use our natural
superpowers to solve their problems.

Finally, we wanted this to be incredibly accessible for our audience to

purchase and implement, so we priced it at a no-brainer $37 to ensure
success. $180K launch later...we’re still hearing all the “thank you”s roll in.

• What challenges are your audience members currently facing?
• How can your natural strengths solve this for them?
• How can you set your product apart from others like it on the market?
• Any other important factors to consider? (Like pricing or current market

4 Okay so you know it’s possible, you have a starting idea of what to
potentially sell, you know there is a problem your superpower will help
someone solve or overcome...and now the even bigger question...

HOW?!

HOW DO YOU PACKAGE YOUR SUPERPOWER in a way that people will

buy it?

Because, make no mistake, the package is what people buy.

The package *matters*.

And there are many ways to package your natural genius into a digital
product. The simplest way is to pick a selling container that matches the level
of transformation you’re delivering to your customers.

For quick action-taking, small digital products can work wonders.

Things like:

• audio training • trello boards

To teach a specific skill so your customers can DIY their results, digital
products that offer more step-by-step instruction are better:

• mini courses • challenges

• masterclasses • video series

 To impart more in-depth strategy for bigger results and huge
transformations, you’ll need a mix of instruction and student-led
reflection:

To facilitate full mastery for your students, you’ll need them on a

journey with a thorough academy-style curriculum or certification
program. Don’t stress this one - totally not needed to get started.

One is not better than the other here. Again, we simply sold a $37 template kit
for quick action and transformation to help our community get unstuck when
it comes to Instagram and showing up consistently.

Another important question to ask is WHERE ARE THEY STARTING? What’s

the point of creating the most in-depth course on organizational strategies if
your audience is too overwhelmed to even hang their shirts in the same part
of their closet every laundry cycle?

EXAMPLE: We have an in-depth strategy course on Instagram brand

growth and monetization. It’s one of our bestselling courses. However, that
transformation is too big for some people just starting. To the ones who can’t
seem to post consistently on Instagram or are confused on how to curate
a great feed - the thought of building a BRAND off of Instagram seems
impossible.

This is a classic case of packaging a digital product in a way that matches the
level of transformation for our audience AND meeting them where they are.
In this case, a $37 template pack was the winning answer.
