It is widely acknowledged that some charity doers opt to help needy people directly.

However, some
prefer providing help via a third-party organisation. This essay aims to address both views. Personally, I
believe I feel it would be best if individuals could pick for relevant charitable techniques that meet their
goals

On the one hand, there are some justifications as to why individuals select to do charity in person. Firstly,
they want to ensure their help can reach underprivileged people, avoiding fraud. There have been many
assertions that some unreliable organisations and individuals have taken advantage of philanthropists to
profiteer for their own sake instead of assisting disaster-stricken neighbourhoods. Secondly, with small-
scaling areas, direct help from benefactors may be done more apace. Specifically, if needy families exist
in the neighbourhood, benefactors in those areas can provide the needy with direct help. Support as
such not only meets disadvantaged families’ demands but also serves as community-bonding activity.

On the other hand, individuals who would rather send money or donate gifts such as clothes, and
medicine via aid organizations may have their reasons. Firstly, geographical barriers are one of the
primary reasons for this approach. To explain, it is not uncommon for many philanthropists could reach
disaster-ravaged areas, which may sometimes located in far-flung destinations, to provide support.
Therefore, by offering financial support through humanitarian organizations, they can join hands in
aiding deprived people. Secondly, another obstacle that charity doers may encounter is time. This
tendency is a worldwide struggle as people have to allocate time efficiently to their priorities, which
precludes them from doing charity in person. Therefore, third parties, such as prestigious aid
organizations, are selected to be their representatives to help disadvantaged people.

In conclusion, from the aforementioned analysis, both options for doing charity have distinguished
benefits and drawbacks. On balance, I believe it would be superior if individuals could opt for applicable
charity methods that suit their purposes
