Experience
IT Intern | Stryker July 2023 – June 2024
Commercial Excellence - International Market
• Boosted Sales operations efficiency and agent competency by implementing user stories and conducting POC

assessments in Salesforce. Rectified pricing discrepancies and optimized quote accuracy using Oracle CPQ.
Research Intern | Prof. S. Pal | IIT (BHU), Varanasi May 2022 – July 2022
Sentiment Analysis of Code-Mixed Text in Dravidian Languages
• Developed a sentiment analysis system using LLMs like mBERT, XLM-RoBERTa and MuRIL, achieving

superior performance with innovative mBERT and rule-based approach, yielding F1 scores of 0.72 for
Malayalam-English and 0.66 for Kannada-English.

Projects
Sarcasm Detection in Code-Mixed Texts December 2023
Area/Domain: Natural Language Processing
• Developed a sarcasm detection system for Tamil-English and Malayalam-English texts using BERT and neural

networks, achieving F1 scores of 0.72, and presented the solution at FIRE Conference 2023.
Indian Sign Language Translation April 2022
Area/Domain: Deep Learning
• Developed a desktop program using a webcam to capture and convert Indian Sign Language (ISL) gestures to text,

and implemented a high-accuracy Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for gesture recognition, managing
data preprocessing and model construction.

Achievements
• Participated and ranked first in the shared task on sentiment analysis and homophobia detection of FIRE
Conference 2022, presented the research work at ISI Kolkata.
• Selected for and attended the Amazon ML Summer School 2022
• Selected as a participant for the “MIT COVID-19 Challenge India: Turning the Tide”, out of 3,725
applicants, with only 1,500 participants accepted.
• Supervised and organized a Health Camp for more than 700 villagers as a Unit-Leader in the NSS
