    HINDUJA’s PHYSICAL ASSET VERIFICATION - PAV SOP

    PAV Activity Guidelines for Engineers Who Visiting the


    Hinduja’s Branches:

    The engineer must carry any one of the government-approved documents


    (Aadhar, PAN, or Driving License) along with the official ID issued by Team
    Computers.

    1. Upon arriving at the Hinduja branch, the engineer should contact assigned
    branch SPOC (Single Point of Contact) before start the activity.

    2. The engineer may proceed with the PAV (Physical Asset Verification) activity
    only after receiving permission from the Branch and IT SPOCs.

    3. The engineer should record the asset inventory details in an Excel sheet using
    the specified asset inventory format, which will be shared with the respective
    engineers beforehand.

    Asset Inventory Details List for Your Reference:

     Machine Type (Desktop /Laptop /Printer /Tab)
     Machine Make (System brand EX: Acer, Lenovo, HP & Dell)

    To note down all the asset details, Kindly follow the below steps for the guide line:

    1) Press the Windows button, search for System Information, and open it.

    2) After selecting the Open option, you will see the screen as shown below.
    On this above screen, you will find most of the asset details, such as system model, system type,
    RAM, processor, OS name, etc.

    3) To retrieve the Microsoft version details, Open Excel and select File and select Account , you
    will get the Microsoft version at the right side of the page.

    4) To retrieve the machine serial number, open the Command Prompt and type necessary
    commands.
    Machine Serial Number : wmic bios get serialnumber
    Mac Address: getmac

    Refer to the image below for guidance.

    4) With assistance from the branch SPOC and the user, also note down the details of Printer
    (model & serial number) ,switches, routers, and bandwidth in the asset inventory Excel sheet..
    Send the pics of router, Wi-Fi and firewall to Hinduja IT engineer via WhatsApp.

    5) Once the asset details are recorded, verify them with the branch SPOC and the Hinduja
    engineer. Finally, send the inventory asset document to both the SPOC and the Hinduja IT
    engineer.
