On weekdays I usually get up at half past six/six o’clock because school starts at Eight o’clock. On Saturdays and Sundays I get up much later, at about nine or ten. 2. When I get up I go to the bathroom to wash. I wash my face/have a shower or a bath and dry myself with a towel. Then I clean my teeth, comb my hair and begin to get dressed. 3. I usually have a sandwich/buttered toast with jam or honey/bread and some salami/scramble eggs/soft or hard boiled eggs/just some fruit for breakfast. I like to drink milk/hot chocolate/tea with milk/tea with lemon/white coffee/black coffee. 4. I go to school on foot/by bus/by car/by train/by underground. I usually cycle to school. I go to the bus stop, get on a number 23 bus/a bus to Gödöllő/Erdőkertes, and get off right outside the school. 5. When I walk it takes (me) about twenty-five minutes to get there. By bus/by car it takes to get there about ten minutes. 6. The lessons start at eight o’clock. On an average day there are six lessons with ten minute breaks in between. The lessons last for forty minutes and the long break after the warm-up lesson lasts for twenty-five minutes. There is another longer break after the second lesson. 7. There is no separate breakfast/lunch break. Everybody can have breakfast in the twenty-five- minute break, and everybody can have lunch when all the lessons are over. 8. On weekdays I always have lunch in the school canteen but at the weekends I have lunch at home. I always have lunch at home. 9. I usually start with some soup (bean/lentil/pea/meat/fruit etc.) then I either have some vegetable sauce or some kind of meat with rice or potatoes. For the third course I sometimes have fruit or cakes. 10. After school I go home, have a chat with my brother/sister/friends and then I sit down to study for the next day’s lessons. When my mother comes home from work I help her with the housework. 11. I help my father with the looking after the garden, washing the car and fixing dripping taps or broken shelves. At the weekends I help him with some D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself). 12. I help my mother with the cleaning, cooking, washing-up, shopping and ironing. I always clean my own room. I dust the furniture, hoover the carpets, polish the floor and air the rooms. 13. After supper I help my mother to clear the table and was up the dishes. If I have a lot of homework I sit down and study until eight or nine o’clock. Then I watch TV or read a good book. 14. I usually go to bed at ten o’clock or at half past ten. If I am very tired I try to go to bed earlier, at about nine. 15. On Sunday morning I get up at about nine or ten o’clock. I have a big breakfast then I go to church. By the time I get home my mother has finished cooking and the family has lunch together. After lunch I try to spend some time outdoors. I go walking with my friends or we go to the cinema together. If I don’t feel like going out I watch TV or relax with an interesting book. I go to bed earlier than on Saturday because on Monday I have to get up early again. 16. I know A lot of vehicles for example: cars, lorries, buses, trains, aeroplanes, ships, motorbikes, bicycles, trams, the underground etc.. 17. In cities there are several vehicles used in public transport such as buses, trams, trolley buses, suburban trains, cogwheels and the underground.
