Introduction
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a global entity that
develops and publishes international standards. These standards cover a wide range of
activities, including product manufacturing, process management, service delivery, and
material supply.

ISO standard definition

An ISO standard is essentially an internationally recognized way of doing something.
It means that everyone follows the same set of guidelines no matter where they are based,
resulting in a safer, more consistent end result. This benefits both the organization and the
customer or end user.

ISO.9000

management and quality assurance developed to help companies effectively document the
quality system elements needed to maintain an efficient quality system. It consists of the
world's best-known standard for quality management systems (QMS).
