Exams and quizzes


Quizzes( 2): 30% (15% each)
(One out of the two quizzes will be of an unannounced/surprise type and will be conducted in
the lecture)
Mid-semester exam: 20%
End-semester exam: 35%
Attendance: 15%

Course policies:
 Attendance is mandatory. A student will be deregistered from the course if his/her
attendance falls below 85%. If a student is absent in 6 lectures, he/she will be
deregistered from the course.
 A student found copying in the exams will be given a failing grade in the course and
will be reported to SSAC.
 Any misconduct or indiscipline will be reported to SSAC and the student may be
deregistered from the course.
 Final exam is compulsory. A student who does not appear in the final exam will be
awarded a failing grade in the course.
