    Abdominal Ultrasound

    Liver measures 157 mm in the mid clavicular line (Normal up to 160 mm), and shows normal echotexture
    with smooth contours. No focal lesion. Intra hepatic biliary channels are not dilated.
    Portal vein measures 10.3 mm and is patent.
    CBD measures 2.8 mm and is normal.

    Electronically verified report. No signature required. Lab reports should be interpreted by a physician in correlation with clinical and radiologic findings.
    Gall Bladder wall is of normal thickness. No stone or sludge. No mass seen.
    Pancreas is normal in size, echotexture and outline in its visualized portion.
    Spleen measures 107 mm (normal <120 mm). No mass seen.

    Rt. Kidney 101 x 38.5 mm


    Lt. Kidney 102 x 42 mm
    Renal outlines are smooth. Normal cortico-medullary demarcation. No calculus, mass or hydronephrosis.
    Urinary Bladder is empty.
    Gross abdominopelvic ascites is noted.
    No basal pleural effusion seen.

    IMPRESSION
    Known case of CA Ovary (no medical record available): Now undergoing
    chemotherapy: Present ultrasound shows Gross abdominopelvic ascites

    Single Leg Venous Doppler Ultrasound

    VENOUS DOPPLER RIGHT LOWER LIMB:

    Lower limb vein were examined on right side using Gray Scale Imaging, Color Doppler Imaging and

    Electronically verified report. No signature required. Lab reports should be interpreted by a physician in correlation with clinical and radiologic findings.
    Duplex Waveform analysis.
    Common femoral and femoral veins show normal compressibility with no internal echoes. Normal phasicity
    with respiration.

    Popliteal vein:No blood flow demonstrated in right popliteal vein and it is not compressible.
    Predominantly hypoechoeic clot with few areas of echogenic thrombus seen within the right popliteal
    vein. Superficial veins are also dilated in the region around popliteal vein and in the leg.

    Subcutaneous tissue edema is also seen in leg and around the ankle and dorsum of foot.

    IMPRESSION Findings are suggestive of deep vein thrombosis-See text for details
    SUGGESTION Clinical and lab correlation is suggested for confirmation of DVT
    The report is based on available clinical information. Correlation with clinical assessment ,previous imaging and
