Imagine the government is a school and Parliament is the principal's office.

● Parliament Committee: Like a class committee with students from different groups. They:
○ Check homework (proposed laws) for mistakes and suggest fixes.
○ Make sure teachers (ministries) are doing their jobs well.
○ Investigate problems in the school (like a bad lunch program) and suggest solutions.
○ Ask experts (like a nutritionist) for advice on healthy lunches.
● Cabinet Committee: Like a group of senior teachers chosen by the principal. They:
○ Decide things like what new classes to offer (new government programs).
○ Make plans on how to improve the school (like an anti-bullying campaign).
○ Get different teachers (ministries) to work together smoothly (like the gym teacher and the
music teacher planning a fitness concert).

Basically:

● Parliament Committee: Keeps an eye on the government and makes sure they're doing a
good job.
● Cabinet Committee: Makes decisions and plans how to run the government.
