Assembly Script: Martyrs’ Day

Arsh

Good morning, everyone! Today, we have gathered to commemorate Martyrs' Day, a day of
immense significance for our nation, as we honor the brave souls who laid down their lives for
India's independence and well-being. Let's start this special assembly by invoking blessings
through prayer.

Divija

Let us join our hands and close our eyes for the prayer and remember god.

Hey prabhu anand data…..

A thought for the day inspires us and sets a positive tone. May I invite Kaustubh to share today’s
thought.

Kaustubh

“The blood of martyrs is the seed of freedom.”

This reminds us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and soldiers, which serve as the
foundation of our nation.

Kavya

Thank you for that inspiring thought Kastubh.

Let us now delve into the wisdom of Kabir Das ji through a meaningful doha.

(Recite a relevant doha like):

“Kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab,

Pal me parley hoyegi bahuri karega kab.”

Nakshtra, Iwardhan, Jay, Kaustubh and Shoshaana

Nakshtra: Let’s now witness a heartfelt role play on Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and his
ultimate sacrifice.

 Introduction Scene: "Mahatma Gandhi, known as Bapu, believed in the power of truth
(Satya) and non-violence (Ahimsa). For him, truth meant living with integrity, and non-violence
meant love and understanding, even toward opponents. He showed the world that peaceful
resistance could conquer hate and injustice. Let us now witness his inspiring journey and
ultimate sacrifice."

 Scene 1: Gandhiji Leading a Protest

Iwardhan:
“Bapu, the police are here. What should we do?”

Kaustubh:
“Remain calm. Remember, we are here to fight injustice with peace, not anger.”

Nakshtra:
“Stop this protest! Disperse immediately, or face consequences!”

Jay:
“But Bapu, they might harm us!”

Kaustubh:
“If they strike us, we will not strike back. Violence only leads to more violence. Let us show
them the power of non-violence.”

"An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."

Nakshtra:
“Move back now, or we will use force!”

Kaustubh:
“Force cannot silence truth. We walk forward, not with weapons, but with courage and peace.”

Jay:
“Bapu, we are not afraid. We will stand together.”

 Closing Scene:

Shoshaana:
“Mahatma Gandhi taught us that non-violence is not weakness; it is the greatest strength.”

Shoshaana:
“He believed that truth is the highest virtue, and we must live by it every day.”

Shoshaana:
“Bapu showed us that even the smallest actions, like spinning the charkha, can lead to big
changes.”

Shoshaana:
“He said, ‘Be the change you wish to see in the world.’ We must live by his example.”
Shoshaana:
