THE HOLOGRAPHIC ADVANTAGE

In holography, all the information required to reconstruct the reticle image is recorded everywhere in the Heads-Up Display window. If the window is obstructed by mud, snow, rain, etc., the HWS remains fully operational, with point of aim/impact being maintained. Even in such extreme cases where the front window is shattered, the HWS is fully functional and the zero is maintained! As long as the operator can see through any portion of the window, the entire reticle pattern is visible on target. The operator can still engage with confidence!
BATTLE PROVEN
The HWS has been designed and tested to provide consistent, reliable performance, even in the most hostile operating environments. The HWS is waterproof (submersible), fog-proof, shock-proof, and withstands extreme temperature variations. The HWS meets military drop test requirements with no functional degradation to the weapon optic and holds zero to within 2 MOA! Every HWS is extensively tested in a punishing recoil simulator generating 1,600 Gs of acceleration in less than 1.0 millisecond.
HEADS UP, FULL VIEW

Engagement with two eyes open is a must. The HWS employs a true Heads-Up Display that eliminates blind spots, constricted vision, or the tunnel vision associated with tubed sights. All user controls are flush to the HWSs streamlined housing with no protruding knobs, battery compartments or mounting rings that block the shooters vision of the target area. True, two eyes open shooting is realized. Instant threat identification is achieved by maximizing the operators peripheral vision and ultimately gaining greater control of the engagement zone. The end result - operators achieve maximum situational awareness.
NO REVEALING SIGNATURE
The HWS is a passive weapon optic and does not emit any muzzle side, position revealing light signature. The projected reticle pattern is visible only to the operator. Even Gen III night vision equipment cannot detect muzzle side signature of the operators position. The result the operator remains absolutely undetectable in any operating environment.
NO RETICLE WASHOUT
The HWSs 30 brightness settings (10 settings in NV mode) ensure the holographic reticle can be instantly viewed in ALL types of lighting environments, cluttered backgrounds and target colors. The HWS delivers an impressive 30,000,000:1 bright to low reticle contrast ratio to ensure the reticle is always clearly viewable. Reticles can be easily seen against white targets in full sunlight even in desert or tundra environments. With the HWS, there are no reticle wash out conditions as seen in red dot sighting systems. For extreme low light conditions, engaging the HWSs night vision mode allows the reticle pattern to be viewed in tandem with the most advanced night vision systems on the market today. The 30 brightness settings provide the operator the flexibility to adjust for optimal conditions in todays ever changing battlefields.

OTHER BALLISTIC RETICLES
The holographic technology that is exclusive to L-3 EOTech, provides an enormous advantage over the red dot competition. Where the competitors can only provide a single aiming dot, L-3 EOTech reticle designs can be fabricated to incorporate multiple trajectory point of aim/point of impact, range assist scales, and anti-torque or cant visual indicators. With this advanced holographic technology, the HWS demonstrates its unique flexibility to solve a number of fire control issues for a host of applications and weapon platforms. L-3 EOTech introduces a 2 dot reticle in the XPS and new EXPS models. This simple reticle design is calibrated to the specific trajectory of the M4 carbine. Although only two dots are provided, this unique pattern provides (4) usable aiming points. The 2 dot reticle can also be distinguished easily with or without magnification. In addition, this reticle pattern can work on other weapon platforms and provide (4) aiming points: close, medium and long range (see chart below).

Three Mounting Options for the M3X and M6X.

Insights patented Slide-Lock interface system allows for instant tool-free mounting and removal on most pistol rails. In the M3X and M6X series, there are three interface options. The Universal Slide-Lock mount fits most pistols, while the 1913 Slide-Lock mount is designed specifically for the true M1913 Mil-Spec Picatinny rail. Both Slide-Lock versions come with an alternate latch bar to insure the proper fit. The Rail-Grabber mount fits most rail configurations whether for a pistol, rifle or shotgun and utilizes a screw-adjustable locking plate that can be tightened to insure a rock solid fit. The Rail-Grabber mount is particularly recommended for heavy recoiling firearms. Regardless of the application, our weapon-mounted lights and lasers are designed to perform. Functionality is the cornerstone of our product line. Thats why we offer ambidextrous multi-function switches that enable fast and ready light/laser activation no matter which hand you use. LED vs. Incandescent (Xenon)
LEDs, or Light Emitting Diodes, have several advantages over incandescent bulbs. First, LEDs deliver increased lumen output which is why you see not only significant nt increases in lumen output, but LEDs can maintain a high lumen output over the course of the batterys life. LEDs also provide a longer life than incandescent bulbs. s. This is particularly important when the light is mounted on a firearm and subjected ed to the extremes of weapon shock. Finally, the LED is far more efficient in how it consumes battery power. Despite its increased lumen output the LED extends the e battery run time significantly and in the case of the X2/X2L, M3/M6 and M3X/M6X, X, that run time is doubled.

The X2L features a visible red Class IIIa laser with a range of 200 meters. Both models are powered by one CR2 lithium battery for a run time of 60 minutes. The Mini Red-dot Sight (MRDS) was designed to aid rapid target acquisition at close combat distances. Its small footprint, low power consumption, and adjustability make it a force multiplier in tight quarters. Auto dot intensity and a manual dot intensity adjustment with 4 brightness levels provide high visibility in all lighting conditions for a lightning fast sight picture. The MRDS features vastly improved ease of operation over its competitors with capabilities such as a top loading battery compartment that allows change-out without the need for sight removal or loss of zero. It is also waterproof to 66 feet as well as tested to the environmental extremes of the 810G MIL-SPEC. The positive click adjusters provide 1 MOA per click windage and elevation correction ensuring quick and accurate sight alignment without the guess work. HOW NIGHT VISION WORKS

Night vision systems work by gathering small amounts of light, such as moonlight, starlight or infrared light, through the lenses at the front. This light consists of photons which are particles of light. As they enter the lens of the night vision device, they strike a light-sensitive surface called a photocathode. The photocathode converts the photons into tiny, subatomic particles that carry electricity called Electrons. The electrons are then amplified to a greater number by passing through a microchannel plate (MCP). Once amplified, the electrons travel through a phosphorous screen that converts the electrons back into photons that enable an operator to view a virtually dark environment. Night vision systems can be categorized as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Generation. Gen III is used most by military and law enforcement and is the most sophisticated version to date. Here, a sensitive chemical, Gallium Arsenide, was added to provide a brighter, sharper image as compared to Gen I and II image intensifiers. Generation III night vision is recognized the world over as a leading differentiator in the modern battlefield, changing urban settings and demanding tactical engagements. EOS is a leader in developing cutting-edge Gen III and Next-Gen night vision weapon sights and goggle systems for discriminating governments, soldiers, police units and others that demand the finest night vision available.
