CYBER SECURITY

Cyber security is an area of expertise in great demand, as cyber-attacks can affect all areas of IT. Defence measures are based
on the systematic documentation of TTPs (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures). A cyber security expert masters the basics of
modern operating systems and is also familiar with distributed applications in the cloud as well as methods of software foren-
sics and data analysis. In our practice-oriented distance learning programme for cyber security, you will be trained to detect
cyberthreats and demonstrate leadership potential. You will acquire up-to-date knowledge in the area of cyber security and deal
with the architecture, programming and maintenance of security systems. In addition to incident response and digital forensics,
you’ll learn aspects of penetration testing and reverse engineering in order to get to know the perspective of cyber criminals and
protect against them.

HOW OUR STUDENTS
USE THEIR IU DEGREE

“At IU, the quality of the faculty made the biggest impression on
me. My professors were outstanding, providing well-planned and
interactive lectures from a perspective of strong industry expertise.
Not only that, but the programme itself was very useful to me after
I graduated and took on a role with a German real estate company,
working in a variety of marketing disciplines. IU really equipped me
with all the essentials for formulating strategies and visions for the
marketing campaigns.”

Mei Chi Lo, MBA (International Marketing)

“IU was the right choice for me due to its competitive tuition fee
structure, strategic location, richness in degree modules, post-study
visa option, international faculty, and diverse student body. My MBA
in International Business aided me a great deal in my present role.
Exposure to case-studies of well-known companies and very current
modules in my degree has equipped me with state-of-the art skills.”

Kunal Saigal, MBA (International Business)

“After receiving my MBA from IU, I am eager to watch myself devel-

op into a much stronger, more independent, and fearless girl in the
years to come. I decided to major in marketing because I wanted to
develop the necessary skills to market internationally. I can build a
solid foundation in business, be prepared for a variety of jobs, and
get the added benefit of honing my marketing skills with a market-
ing degree.”

Chanchal Singh Patne, MBA (International Marketing)
