Bhakti Vriksha trains people to establish temple worship in their households, to practice Krishna Consciousness at home making it the predominant feature of their lives. On the whole Bhakti Vriksha groups provide the most important element to spread Krishna Consciousness in an exponential way. Caitanya Mahaprabhu says: "I order every man within this universe to accept this Krishna Consciousness movement and distribute it everywhere". (Caitanya Caritamrita, Adi Lila 9.36). So lets join together, practice, preach and make our life sublime. Hare-Krishna. For more details, please contact Srivas Krsna Caitanya
Bhakti Vriksha
Bhakti Vriksha is an extension of temple, which is comprised of a small group of congregational devotees. Its a gathering which happens once in a week in order to practice, to grow and to preach the process of Bhakti Yoga. Its like a little family unit within the greater community of the temple. This unit keeps the groups small, maintaining an intimate atmosphere of love and care system. A Bhakti Vriksha group focuses on discussion, personal and informal association and working as a team for preaching and other spiritual activities.

Book Distribution
Devotees look for various opportunities to distribute books. They try to organize the book distribution program in the following ways: 1) Distributing books in various Public Libraries 2) Educational institutions 3) Festival gatherings 4) Public places 5) Trains 6) Airports 7) Bus stands 8) Markets 9) Pandal programs 10) House programs 11) Pada yatra 12) Gift shops 13) Books are given as gifts to Life Patrons of ISKCON
Srila Prabhupada explains in a lecture We are printing so many books. For spreading this knowledge, that must be distributed. Home to home, place to place, man to man, this literature must go there. If one takes one book, at least one day he'll read it: "Let me see what this book I have purchased the other day is." And if he reads one line his life will be successful, if he reads one line only, carefully. This is such literature. So therefore book distribution I am giving so much stress. Somehow or other, small book or big book, if it is given to somebody he'll read someday... - [Bhagavad-gita 16.1-3 Hawaii, January 29, 1975]
A team of devotees at the Sankirtan Department distribute books through various channels: 1) Book stall inside the temple: Pilgrims visit Sri Nava Narasimha Temple daily. They all get an opportunity to have a look at Srila Prabhupadas books displayed at the Book stall in the temple. There one will find all of the books written or translated by Srila Prabhupada in nearly all major Indian languages.
Books are the Basis, Utility is the Principle, Preaching is the Essence, Purity is the Force --- Srila Prabhupada

Without the development of fine affection and love, one cannot offer prayers to the Lord very suitably
Kumbhabhishekam is a temple ritual that is performed to homogenize, synergize and unite the mystic powers of the deity. Kumbha means the Head and denotes the Shikhara or Gopuram of the Temple and, Abhishekam means Ritual bathing. On the appointed day and, at an auspicious time, the Kumbha is bathed with the charged and sanctified holy waters in the sacrificial pot and, by a mystic process, these pranic powers trickle down a silver wire and enter the deity installed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The deity which was until only granite sculptured stone image, is believed to transform into a vibrant and vivid living representation of the Lord with innate beauty, grace and grandeur, conferring divine blessings on all devotees.

Prana means breath and Pratishta means establishing, and so the Prana-pratishta ceremony is literally establishing the breath within the sacred image. Prana-pratishta can be understood like an agreement established between the Deity and the devotees: the Deity agrees to descend into the sacred image and, the devotees agree to care for the Deity in the form of service.
"Just by starting the construction of a temple for Lord Krishna, sins committed in seven births will be wiped out and one will deliver his forefathers"

. for anything offered to Krishna with love and affection, Krishna can reciprocate many millions of times over, both materially and spiritually. The basic principal involved is an exchange of love. We can cook for Krishna, a builder can build a nice temple for Krishna, an accountant can do financial work for Krishna, an artist can paint pictures of Krishna, a gardener can grow nice flowers for Krishna, and in fact almost any skill can be used in the service of Krishna. The result will be liberation from the suffering conditions of the material world

Govindas
-karma free food
We are basically Bhajan singers at Sri Nava Narasimha Temple. Ethno-Rock/Metal has always been an expression for us as it symbolizes youth, energy and freedom. All these characteristics define us entirely at this age. Spiritual inclination has no age limits, the sooner the better. It is said even one lifetime is enough to attain perfection. Youth today is perplexed and disoriented in his approach primarily because of lack of faith and devotion in self and the Supreme. Self-realization is the key to God-realization.
Inspired by ancient India, Govindas provide fresh, nutritious meals at affordable prices. We serve a wide variety of pure vegetarian cuisine which is freshly cooked on the premises throughout the day. All of our products are meat, fish and egg free. We do not use onions, garlic or mushrooms. When you walk into Govindas, you are amidst an oasis of tranquility, health and balance. We present you with sattvic food which goes beyond vegetarianism and awakens the soul to its original purpose. Karma Free Diet All our preparations are first offered to Lord Krishna before being served and are thus called prasadam which means the Mercy of God. Dine in Govindas for a truly blessed and karma-free experience!
