LESSON PLAN Teaching Method: Period:1 READING/WRITING/SPEAKING

UNIT 3F:- EVERYDAY ENGLISH- Asking and answering questions at a job interview. Brainstorm reason why people work - eg- to earn money. To work through p. 30, ex. 1-7 of textbook. To listen to job interviews, and check intonation and pronunciation. To listen to text, and order things you hear first. For students to be able to ask and answer questions simulating a job interview. For students to be able to listen to different dialogues and answer the textbook questions. . To practice intonation and pronunciation of words by using chorus type exercises. For students to enjoy the lesson. 2 mins:- Welcome and attendance book. 8 mins:- Elicit objectives of lesson, to understand the purpose, and to be able to listen to, understand, and act out a job interview. 10 mins:- Listening exercise 1 and 2, p. 30 textbook. 5 mins:- Intonation and pronunciation ex. 3. Practice chorally. 5 mins:- Listen again and put in order the questions (ex. 5) 15 mins:- In pairs, plan an interview for a job. Teacher gives a the job to each pair, they have to prepare dialogue. Finish for homework, and act out to the class tomorrow.
