The Fisherman and his Wife

Summary of the reading (at least 10 sentences): A poor fisherman and his wife live in an old hut. One day, he goes fishing and catches a strange and beautiful fish. Actually, it is not a fish, but a magic prince. The fisherman lets it go back to the sea. When he goes home, his wife is very angry because he doesnt bring any fish. He tells her the story. His wife wants him to ask the fish to give them a cottage. Her demand is done: they have a cottage. At the beginning theyre very happy with that. However, a week later she is not happy with the cottage. She wants to have a nice big house. She has it. A week later, she wants a castle. She has it. A week later she wants a palace. She has a palace and becomes the Queen. The next morning she becomes unhappy with that and wants to be the Emperor of all the world. However, she cant become the Emperor and the palace also disappears. Their life returns to normal, they live their old life in the old hut. Dear John, this is very good. Pinocchio
Summary of the reading (at least 10 sentences): The man called Geppetto made a puppet called Pinocchio. At night, a fairy made Pinocchio to become a boy, Geppetto was very happy. Next morning, Pinocchio went to school . But on the way he saw a puppet show. He sang and danced with them. Stromboli owned the puppet show and he locked Pinocchio with Jiminy Cricket in the cage.The fairy helped him to get out that cage. On the way home, he met some boys and played with them. Jiminy told that he had to go home. He didn't accept that and tured to a donkey. He ran home with Jimmy. The letter said that Geppetto had been swallowed by a whale. Pinocchio went out to find Geppetto but the whale swallowed him. He found Geppetto. They came out of whale's mouth. After all of that, Geppetto took Pinocchio home. Pinocchio became a real boy. Peter Pan
Summary of the reading (at least 10 sentences): Wendy lived in a house with two brothers, called Jonh and Michael in London. One night, a boy named Peter Pan came to Wendy 's house. He ask her for come to Never Land. They flew to Never Land but Tinkerbell a fairy didn't like Wendy. She told Peter Pan's friend to shoot Wendy. The boys shot Wendy down but luckily Peter saved her. The boys went to find some Indians. The Indians tied them up. At that time, Peter and Wendy went to see some mermaids and they saw a boat. Captain Hook a wicked pirate and Tiger Lily- Peter's friend was in the boat. Peter saved her and took her home. The Indians set the boys free.They was happy but Hook was very cross. Tinkerbell showed him how to find Wendy. He locked Tink in a lantern. Wendy and her brother wanted to go home but the pirate were waiting for the children.They took them into their ship. Tinkerbell got out of the glass lantern.She flew to Peter and told to him about the children.Peter and Hook had a fight. Hook fell off the ships. They took Hooks ship to flew back to London. Lucy and Billy

Summary of the reading (at least 10 sentences): Lucy wanted a bird for her birthday so whole family came to the pet shop. Lucy looked each bird very carefuly. Finally, she chose a parakeet because parakeet could learn to talk. She called it Billy. Lucy took care of Billy very well. Every day, she said to her parakeet: My name is Billy'. Thomas - her little brother repeated that again but Lucy didnt like it and she said Dont do that. One day, Lucy was busy doing her homework. Thomas ran in and said that Billy just talked. Both children raced to Billys cage. His beak hardly moved, but Lucy heard him talk. Billy said :Dont do that. Lucy couldnt believe her ears. The Country Show

Summary of the reading (at least 10 sentences): Farmer was getting Goat ready for the country show so he bought him a thick blanket, brushed goats coat and fed him spinach. Chicken, Cow, House wanted to be like Goat. Cat wanted to sleep but it was too noisy. So it told other animals that if they want to be like Goat, they needed to said to the farmer. In the afternoon, they came to farmers house. He couldnt believe that all the animals wanted him to look after them but its impossible. They went back to the barnyard. They decided to do nothing for the farmer. The farmer realized that he needed them anyway. So in the morning, he took care of them. They all won in the country show and the cat had his best sleep ever. Morning news from the Fair

Summary of the reading (at least 10 sentences): This is the morning news, were Bob and Sue. This morning we have a special news report from the Summer Fair. We have 2 reporter at the fair. Reporter 1(Kate) tells anchor 1(Bob) about how fun when people play roller coaster. Anchor 2 (Sue) ask reporter 1(Kate) what is that over to her left. Thats a brand new ride. The eight chairs fly out and spin around at an amazing speed. People in the there very exciting. The next reporter is Mark (Reporter 2) at a different part of the fair. He talks about the biggest pumpkin contest and the place where the cows were being shown and people could taste the carrot cakes. Its very interesting. Finally the produce says that people can relax. Once upon the time, there was a woman who had no child. She really wanted a little girl. One day, an old woman came to her house and gave the woman a seed. She said if the woman planted this seed she'll have a little girl. Then the woman planted that seed. Very soon, the seed became the flower and it opened. There is a girl. The woman was very happy and called girl Thumbelina. One day, the toad saw Thumbelina and he wanted Thumbelina became his daughter but she didn't want to marry the toad. And she saw the butterfly. Thumbelina said she didn't want to be toad's wife and want to come home with her mother. The butterfly flew down to the leaf and Thumbelina jumped to it back. Together they went to the wood. In there, Thumbelina was very happy because butterfly played with her or all summer. But when the winter came, the butterfly flew away so she was really sad. Then Thumbelina with a mouse near there: " Because help me. I'm cold and hungry, please. "The mouse took Thumbelina to her house. The winter was very long. In the mouse's house, there wasn't any food. Then the mouse said: "Thumbelina why don't you come to the mole's house ad you'll have something to
eat." Although the old mole is very rich, Thumbelina was very sad. When the old mole came, he'd like Thumbelina come his house because he wanted her to be happy. So she came to his house.
