SUGGESTION FOR GOOD COUNSELLING Self awareness. Be honest with your feeling Be sensitive to needs of others. Be consistent- it helps develop trust. Watch your nonverbal reactions. Maintain confidentiality. Maintain privacy.

Reason for ineffective communication and counseling

Ineffective communication skills. Failure to listen on the part of counselor. Conflicting verbal & non-verbal messages. A judgemental attitude. Misunderstanding because of multiple meaning of English words.
