Who wrote the old man and the sea ?

BORN: July 21, 1899 DIED: July 2, 1961 He was an American author and journalist. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954.

He wrote The Old Man and the Sea.

He was an American author, poet, editor and

literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement. He is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre.

was an American author and humorist. He is most noted for his novels, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876), and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885), the latter often called "the Great American Novel."

Barbara McClintock (1902-1992)

Won the Nobel Prize 'Physiology or Medicine "for the year 1983. The technique developed by McClintock to visualize maize chromosomes was one of his notable works. McClintock explained how cells respond to environmental stress to which they are subjected living organisms through a restructuring of its genome, these mechanisms explain the formation of new species, and would be the basis of evolutionary changes.

Neil Armstrong (1930 - 2012)

W as astronaut and the first human being to set foot

on the moon on July 21, 1969, in the Apollo 11 Mission. He joined the astronaut program in 1962 and was command pilot for his first mission,Gemini VIII, in 1966. He was spacecraft commander for Apollo 11, the first manned lunar mission, and the first man to walk on the moon. He died in 2012.

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Franklin's inventions were multiple, such as: The glass harmonica:This is constituted by a number of glass plates and lined traversed by a shaft. George Washington Carver (18641943):

He taught farmers to make a variety of recipes

for peanuts. also made improvements in the preparation of various articles including foodstuffs. The list of these items is as follows: axle grease, adhesives, instant coffee, fuel briquettes, chili sauce, buttermilk, bleach, sidewalk, plastic, paper, metal polishing, etc. Is considered a renowned inventor, discoverer of over three hundred uses for peanuts and hundreds of them for soybeans, pecans and sweet potatoes.
