    MILKHA SINGH THE FLYING KING


    Milkha Singh was born in 1935 at Govindpura, a village 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Muzaffargarh city in Punjab. Now Milkha Singh lives in Chandigarh. He married in 1962 with Nirmal kaur. They have three daughters and a son, Jeev Milkha Singh. In 1999, they adopted the seven-year old son of Havildar Bikram Singh. As of 2013, he is the only Indian male athlete to win an individual athletics gold medal at a Commonwealth Games.

    "queen of Indian track and field. She was born on the 27th of June 1964 at Payyoli, a village located in District Payyoli of Kerala. In the 10th Asian Games held at Seoul in 1986, P. T. Usha won 4 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the track and field events. Usha has won 101 international medals so far. She is employed as an officer in the Southern Railways. In 1985, she was conferred the Padma Shriand the Arjuna Award. She is nick named the Payyoli Express.

Won 1 gold and 2 silver at the 1999 Saf Games held at Kathmandu 33 medals including 13 golds in Asian Games and Asian ChampionshipsAwards and Honors Recipient of Arjuna Award ,1984. Greatest women athlete, in 1985 Jakarta Asian Athletic Meet. Padma Shree in 1984. Best Athlete of the year Award from India Government in 1984,1985,1986,1987, and 1989. Marshal Tito award for the best railway sportsperson in 1984, 1985, 1989 and 1990 1986 Seoul Asian Games, won the Adidas Golden Shoe Award for the best athlete Thirty International Awards, for her excellence in Athletics. Kerala Sports Journalists Award for the year 1999.

    Major Dhyan Chand


    Major dhyan chand Known as The Wizard for his superb ball control . Dhyan Chand was an Indian Hockey player. Dhyan Chand was born on 29th August, 1905 in Allahabad family. His father Sameshwar Dutt Singh was in the British Indian Army, and he played hockey in the army. Dhyan Chand had two brothers Mool Singh, and Roop Singh. He died on 4th December 1979 Delhi, India.

    Dara Singh
    Dara Singh was an Indian wrestler-turned-actor. He started acting in 1952 and was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha (upper house) of India. He worked as Hindi and Punjabi film producer, director and writer, and he acted on film and television.Dara Singh was born on 19 November in 1928 in the village of Dharmuchak. His last tournament, where he announced his retirement, was held in Delhi in 1983, inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi and the winning trophy was presented by Giani Zail Singh.He died on 12 July 2012 at his home in Mumbai
