Nehaarikaa Talwar (B.Tech (CSE)), Shiksha Chauhan (B.Tech (CSE) 2010 Batch) and Himanshu Garg (ECE 3rd sem) were the top 24th team in Asia Pacific Region in IEEEXtreme 5.0, a 24 hour global programming competition. 2. Research paper of Kartik Jain and Ankit Goel of USICT ECE (4th year) has been selected in the proceedings of IEEE International Conference. 3. Sai Pratik (B.Tech(CSE) 2010 Batch) came first in college in Microsoft IEEE Quiz 4. Karan Singh (B.Tech (CSE)) was appointed as the Secretary (Webinar) for IEEE GINI India Executive Committee 2012 and has been serving as the Lead, Collaboration Platform for IEEE GINI Delhi. 5. Navjot Singh (B.Tech (CSE)) worked as a Research fellow at Google Lunar X Prize (World's biggest prize bag Competition). He was also in the top 33 contestants of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2012 - Software Category 6. Mrigank Gandhi (B.Tech (IT)) won 2nd Position in Java@Coffee(Java Programming) Competition in organized by NSIT in the year 2012. 7. Events concerning social causes such as Blood Donation Camps have also Been held. CSI Students Chapter Organizes seminars, conferences, workshops, industry meets, guest lectures, etc. SAInT Students Association of Information Technology Promote cultural, educational & co-curricular activities.
Quizzes, etc. are also organized at intra as well as inter university level.
Students Association of Information Technology (SAInT) is a student body wherein all students unite under one roof and make things happen. SAInT periodically organizes seminars, conferences, workshops and guest lectures on latest technologies and thus widens the learning horizon of the students. SAInT also brings out a periodic newsletter dubbed SAInTSpeaks that publishes select technical and nontechnical articles.
InfoXpression is a feast for the IT enthusiasts. It is the annual technical festival organized by SAInT.
Some of the flagship events of this fest are technical paper presentation, day-and-night programming, robotics, cultural programs and others.
Every year USICTians enthusiastically come forward to make this event a grand success and participants get galore opportunities to prove their technical skills and creative potentials.
