    Passive: Coffe is drunk by my
    father everyday.
    Actv: Melly and Ann make
    cookies.
    Passv: Cookies are made by them

    PASSIVE VOICE

    S + TO BE (WAS/WERE) + VERB III + BY

    Eg.

    Active: We met Mr. Agus in the library


    yesterday.
    Passive: Mr. Agus was met by us in the
    library yesterday.
    Actv: They put their money in the bank
    last month
    Passv: Their money was put by them in the
    bank last month

    SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE IN PASSIVE


    VOICE
    S + SHALL/WILL + BE + VERB III + BY + O

    Eg.
    Active : Boni will take an examination
    tomorrow.
    Passv : an examination will be taken by
    boni
    tomorrow.
    Act: My mom will give me present in my
    birthday
    Passv: Present will be given by her in my
    birthday

    PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE IN PASSIVE VOICE


    S + BE (IS, AM, ARE) + BEING + VERB III + BY + O

    Eg.

    Active : Somebody is cleaning the


    room at the moment.
    Passive : the room is being cleaned
    by somebody at the moment.

    PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE IN PASSIVE VOICE


    S + WAS/WERE + BEING + VERB III + BY + O
    Eg.

    Active : I was listening the radio.


    Passive : The radio was being
    listened by me.
    Act: The president of Indonesia was
    visiting natural disaster casualty.
    Passv: Natural disaster casualty
    were being visited by him.

    PRESENT PERFECT TENSE IN PASSIVE VOICE

    S + HAVE/HAS+BEEN + V3 + BY + O

    Eg.
    Active: The student have submitted the
    report
    Passive: The report have been
    submitted by the student
    Active: My dog has attacked my
    neighbours cat
    passive: My neighbours cat have been
    attacked by my dog.

    SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE IN PASSIVE VOICE


    S+ WIIL/SHALL+ BE + V3+ BY +O

    Eg.
    Act: The doctor will start the operation
    soon.
    Passv: The operation will be started by
    him soon.
    Act: Demontration will damage to the
    prestige of the state.
    Passv: The Prestige of the state will be
    damaged by demonstration.

    PAST PERFECT TENSE IN PASSIVE VOICE


    S + HAD + BEEN + V3 + BY + O

    Eg.
    (active) we had lived in Bangselok for
    three years.
    (passive) Bangselok had been lived by
    us for three years.
    (active) he had run 100 mill from his
    house.
    (passive) 100 mill had been run by him
    from his house.

    FUTURE PERFECT TENSE IN PASSIVE


    VOICE
    S + WILL+HAVE/HAS + BEEN + V3

    Eg:
    (active) Rani will has gone to Semarang
    tomorrow
    (passif) Semarang will have been gone
    by her tomorrow
    (actv) Mr. John will has sent the letter to
    Mexico
    (Passv) The letter will has been sent by
    him to Mexico

    PAST FUTURE TENSE IN PASSIVE VOICE


    S+ WOULD/ SHOULD+ BE + V3+ BY +O

    Eg:
    Act: we would buy Soto Banjar the
    day after day
    Passv: Soto Banjar would be
    bought by us the day after day
    Act: My sister would play a ball in
    swimming pool
    Passv: A ball would be played by
    my sister in swimming pool.
