    Khabar sadiq ( True Narrative)

    The word khabar in Arabic means information which is probably true or false. While the word sidq is literally
    meant that is in agreement with the rule of reality .Therefore, the term khabar sadiq is understood as ; true
    information, reports, news , story, narrative, statement that are accordance with fact and reality.

    Al Attas states that one of the most important sources of knowledge is the truly right
    information, not false and uncertain one.
    Al Attas divides the true report into two kinds .First is the so-called the transmitted
    report(mutawatir) and the second one is the report of the messenger (khabar alRasul).

    Al - Khabar Al-Mutawatir ( Transmitted report)


    1. Report that is established upon the tongues of people of whom reason cannot conceive
    that they would purpose together on a lie.
    2. It is knowledge arrived at deliberately , and it induces necessary knowledge like the
    knowledge of departed kings of past time & of distant country.
    Whoever invents a lie and attributes it to me intentionally, let him prepare his
    seat in the fire

    Al Khabar Al Rasul (The report of the


    prophet)

    Report that is brought by the prophet ( Therefore, the report acquired is absolutely true)
    There are 3 point that should be noted.
    1. Messenger who bring the report.
    . The person who is sent by Allah to creatures in order to convey His judgement.

    Miracle ( mujizah)
    It is something that annuls the customary way of things (Khariq li al-adah)

    . The report comes through the messenger ( in this sense the messenger refer to Muhammad
