Provide academic support and retention services to historically underserved students Targets students that have the potential to perform with the assistance of the program Provides admission, academic and financial assistance Who May Apply? Historically low-income and educationally underserved undergraduate students Need support and admission assistance to succeed in college Students that demonstrate academic potential and motivation EOP Income Criteria EOP Income Criteria 2 Eligibility New York State resident for 12 months prior to enrollment Require special admission consideration Qualify as economically disadvantaged according to the guidelines Applying to EOP/HEOP Submit regular SUNY application and indicate interest in EOP Campus will often request additional documentation High school record/GED & test scores Benefits - Fee Waiver Students may qualify for application waivers Up to their first seven (7) campus choices Must meet both academic and economic guidelines Benefits Summer Program Obtain Writing, Math, Computer and Library Skills Opportunity to Explore Campus Complete PC Skills Test Test for Foreign Language Proficiency Self-Exploration Make New Friends Benefits Financial Assistance
