This inspection
evaluates deformity or malfunction and determines the disposition necessary to resolve the
deformity.

• Airlines and other commercial operators of large or turbine-powered aircraft follow a continuous
inspection program approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States,or
by other airworthiness authorities such as Transport Canada or the European Aviation Safety
Agency (EASA).
• Some dispositions are :
1. Serviceable : It happens when there is no damage found or the damage is still in tolerance
range.Thus,it isn’t necessary to use any repairing action.

2. Repairable : If there is an damage found,it’ll be repaired based on the approved maintenance


data.After that,Maintenance Disposition Report (MDR)is issued as a report of the
current damage.
3. Pending repair instructions :
• It happens when there is a damage and it can’t be repaired based on the Approved
Maintenance Data. After that,Maintenance Disposition Report (MDR)is issued as a
report of the current damage.

• The next step is inform/notify the engineering unit and aircraft owner
enterprise.Then,determine repairing scheme that is possible to be done appropriate
with the operator procedure.The scheme has just been accepted and used if it has
got an approval from the operator or authority or the aircraft certificate owner.
