Introduction

 Panama Canal is a 48 mile canal that


connects the Atlantic Ocean to Pacific
Ocean (Canal De Panama, 2018).

 Located in the narrowest part of the


American continent.

History
French started the project in 1881, but failed.
 USA took over the project in 1904 and completed in 1914.

Conclusion
The first sea-going vessel passed the Panama Canal on August 15, 1914.

The successful completion was through enhanced human resource management,

proper planning and risk management.
