GREEN NODES
Seriemas have five(5) major green nodes / public open spaces

in the township which each of them have its own concept
identity and character. The main objective of the urban
design guidelines for these open space is “To provide an
integrate open space with livable environment”. In
some extent, the connection between the open spaces is also
taken into account and consideration as it will encourage the
community in Seriemas township to explore each of the open
space that will be provided in future.
In general, the open space should be arranged in a diverse

pattern of shapes. Where appropriate, a few larger open
spaces could be considered for public gatherings or hosting
cultural and social events.
The five(5) major of public open spaces are:

1. Everglades
2. Evergreen
3. Orchard
4. Green Lifestyle
5. Adventure
In addition, there is another one green network which located

at the Seriemas commercial area which will give extra
connection to the open spaces and encourage people to have
an activity on those open space area.
The “Green Trails” also has been plan as it would be the

guidance to the community to explore all the five(5) open
space with some benefit information regarding to outdoor
activity. In this regards, the planed open space will become
more friendly park and it encourages the people to explore
more with some adventurous recreational activity.

Everglades Park is the open space that
located at Seriemas main entrances 3. The
main objectives of this open space is to have
a welcoming open space which must be
attractive in looking and the main function is
to serve the neighborhoods within it. Some
