Most of the people are aware of the
Mathematics subject. According to Merriam
Webster Dictionary, mathematics is the science of numbers, quantities, and shapes and the relation between them. In addition, there are some students who are afraid or having different negative feelings towards math subject. The Researcher discovered that the term for those given set of feelings is called “Math Anxiety” Mark H. Ashcraft stated the definition of math anxiety as “a feeling of tension. Apprehension, od fear that interferes with math performance.” And according to Schar, when a highly math-anxious students performs disappointingly on a math question, the reason could be math anxiety, or the lack of competency in math due to math avoidance. There are more research related to math anxiety and many scholars confirmed that math anxiety really exist. Being in a situation where you are having some panic attacks and nervousness towards math during math class is a sign of math anxiety. Having frustrations and negative thoughts every time you are called to solve specific math problem are also the sign of it. There are other signs of math anxiety. Based on these example, we can now identify if someone is suffering from it. Especially, you can have the awareness in terms of your personal status. You can identify if you are one of the people whop have math anxiety of not. 1. What is the percentage of SHS students in NHC HS who have math anxiety according to their strand?

having math anxiety? Null: There is no significant relationship between the students who have Math anxiety and their decision making in choosing career strand in SHS.
Alternative: There is significant relationship between
the students who have math anxiety and their decision making in choosing career strand in SHS. The researcher will identify the things that were stated in the statement of the problem only. This study will involve SHS students in NHC High School, School Year 2019-2020. It is only bounded to all SHS students in the given school and no other level is included to this research. This research is significant to the teachers and as well as to the students. It is important for the teachers, especially for the math teachers, to identify the nature of math anxiety. With the knowledge about this topic, the teachers will be able to help the students in terms of their struggles about math.
On the other hand, the students must be aware
