Mallets in the Air.
Fingers wrapped around. Bike-Riding elbows, And my hands bounce up & down. Travel Chant 1, 2, 3, 4, Mallets Down Get off the Floor. 5, 6, 7, 8, Hurry don’t be late X. Playing Procedures 1.) Always Walk Around Instruments/never over them. 2.) When you get to your instrument, remove Burgers and Fries using a helicopter lift. 3.) Silently wait in playing position. 4.) Watch for direction to go silently to resting position. Mallets/Striking With a partner, answer the following questions: 1.) Where do you think the best place to grip the mallets would be? 2.) Should we hold the mallets tightly or loosely? 3.) Where would be the best place to strike your instrument?
