current for load .If a passenger or an
object interrupts the door closing
movement ; current exceeds the overload
limit. Immediately door will reverse the
direction and start opening.

MESSAGE DISPLAY
 Lift when overloaded – OVERLOAD
 During service mode – IN
MAINTENANCE
 General fault preventing the
elevator to run
--NOT IN USE
 When EBD operates – RESCUE
 When FRD is operated – FIRE
RESCUE
 When we received a call from lift that some one stuck in
lift, you informed that we will rescue you within few
minutes. The following procedure can adopted.
1.By opening the shaft door (If Lift at floor )
2.By EBD mode (When Lift shows no fault)
3.By RDF (Recall drive function ) mode (When Power is
available. It will done by only E&M staff)
4. By brake lever mode (It will done by SC )
5. By brake lever with help of BDT(Battery drive Tool).
 1. By opening the shaft door

a.First we will reached at MAP.

b.Open the MAP
c.If door zone indicator (4 LED ) glowing. Then give the landing
call
d.If lift moves then automatically lift open at level.
e.If Lift does not move then switch off the supply of Lift, and open
the door manually respective of floor.
RESCUE (through EBD mode )

 When Main Power supply Failed the

automatic rescue by EBD mode with
in 15 to 20 second
 Floor indicator showing Rescue
operation
 Then EBD moves the lift in any
direction as per car load. And opens
the door.
RESCUE (Through RDF )
 When Power supply available then we
rescued the passenger with the help of RDF
mode
 1.Inform the passenger that you are going
to let them out and they must not try to do
anything by themselves.
 2.Turn the RDF (Recall drive function )
switch 270 on.
 3.Push run button 270:RB together with
direction button up or down simultaneously.
 4.The car is on floor ,when the four green
indicator light is on.
 5.Open the door and let the passenger out
RESCUE (By brake lever )

 1.If car stops in between the floor(4 LED not

glowing in MAP )
 2. Inform the passenger that you are going to let
them out
 3.Turn off the supply from MAP
 4.Release the Brake lever
 5.See if the car starts to move .Stop it by
letting the brake close after every 1…2
second.
 6.Open the door and let the passenger out
 NOTE! Never open the brake if the car is already
at door zone.
RESCUE (Through BDT )
 If car not move by brake lever (In balanced
condition )
 Then open the brake lever and press the
BDT button simultaneously. (S1,S2 located at
MAP )
 Car move in any direction (A green indicator
shows the movement of Lift ).Leave the
button.
 If 4 LED glowing then leave the brake lever.
 Open the door and let the passenger out.
CAUSE OF FAULT IN LIFT
