 Interns are responsible for the design, development and management of Web development based
projects under the guidance of the senior developers
 Because web development is used all over the world to make the web designs . The interns must
gain the required knowledge of IoT and must work as an individual projects

time management and resource management etc.

INTERNSHIP WORK DETAILS
I. Domain Introduction
 The web development process includes web design, web content development, client-side/server-side
scripting and network security configuration, among other tasks.
 Web development ranges from creating plain text pages to complex web-based applications, social
network applications and electronic business applications.
 The web development hierarchy is as follows:
1.Client-side coding
2.Server-side coding
3.Database technology

III. Mini project: “CAR RENTAL WEB APP USING PHP AND MySQL”
Abstract:
The main aim of this project is to allow users to rent cars.
This project is developed so that users can create their respective account and book a car based
on their requirements.
We have provided security for authenticated user as new user have to register according to their
type of perspective and existing user have to login.
This application that has been developed allows a user to view all the cars available for use and
make a choice depending on the criterion of the user.
There is a separate login for the administrator of the application where the admin can view all
the details of the existing users and can also add or delete the cars, enter the details of the car,
view the booking details, etc.
IV. Concept
It provides an elegant management of car rental process without much hassle.
The main purpose of this project is to make car booking process as comfortable and easy as
possible for the user. The entire application is organized in such a manner that the user and the
admin; both find it systematic and not difficult to use.
This system is used to store data over a centralized server which consist of database where the
individuals’ information cannot be accessed by a third party.
This application provides the required information in less time and also helps in quicker
decision making.
V. Problem Statement:
With an increase in the population and need of cars, there is a lot of confusion around booking
them.
Due to the lack of communication and lack of proper means to book a car, pick and drop the
car, a lot of people who only have basic knowledge of technology find it difficult to figure out
complex booking websites where sometimes they can be mislead.
There is a dire need for synchronization between the users and the admins of a car rental
company so that proper records can be kept on both sides and all the transactions are as
transparent as possible.
System Architecture

System Architecture
1. If you are a new user then first sign up, and if you are a member then enter your details regarding your personal
information, contact information. Press submit and your details will be saved.
2. Register means registration in terms of Username and Password then check the availability of car, type of car and
duration. If present then enter all details and check out.
3. For admin, login credentials have to be entered. Once this is done, the admin will have access to insert, delete or
manipulate the data that is present in the application including details of all the users who have registered in the
application, their booking details, add/delete/update specifications of car, etc.

OUTCOME OF THE WORK
Technical outcomes:
Basic understanding of WEB Development And HTML ,CSS concepts.
Build web based projects.
Non technical outcomes:

Being punctual.
Understood the work environment.
Learnt the specific rules and responsibilities in an organization.
