    - Pelarangan penggunaan bahan asbes dalam industri dan rumah

    - Riset terdahulu lebih fokus pada kondisi suhu normal.
    - Banyak penggunaan gasket di industri pada kondisi suhu tinggi (diatas
    100oC).

    - Metal gasket Type 50A - JIS B 2404 : Outer diameter 53 mm – inner
    diameter 30.5 mm bahan Stainless Steel SUS304 tebal 0.5 mm.
    - Fokus penelitian: pengaruh suhu tinggi pada gasket (deformasi, rotasi,
    thermal stress) dan prestasi penyekatan kebocoran gasket akibat suhu
    tinggi.
