• Visualization has become an integral part of
the society and its communication process.
• Researches have shown that systematically
designed and developed visualizations
properly integrated into regular instructional
sequences significantly improve learner
information acquisition of designated training
objectives.

effectiveness.

– Easy to understand, and perfectly timed.

• These are instructional media that facilitate
the employees to acquire knowledge and skills
they need to perform their jobs well.

ideal for small groups and can be prepared in
advance.

– Brainstorming sessions .
– Writing up session objectives .
– Recording and reviewing key points from trainees

• Advance preparation saves time and gives a
professional touch to learning…
Whiteboards.
Whiteboards.
• Whiteboards have glossy finish which makes
them so easy to use …..these are normally
wall mounted .
• The content is written on it with a white=-
board marker and the contents can be easily
erased .
• Makes perfect replacement for a traditional
black board that uses chalks.
Overhead projectors
Overhead projector ..
• An overhead projector works with
transparencies that have data written on it ..
• It can be used to effectively communicate to a
larger group and can be used over and over
again .
• Can be used to illustrate the developmanet of
an idea perfectly and Highlight key points

• Printed material and matter that has been
written in small fonts should be avoided as the
viewers might find it trouble some to read and
eventually loose interest in the presentation.
• Transparencies should be arranged in a serial
order.

• These have become most widely used mode
of delivering a presentation.
• In it a digital projector is connected to a
personal; computer or a laptop and with the
help of Microsoft's PowerPoint program slides
are made to run on a blank white screen onto
which the projection is made..
• This has become the most effective way of
conducting sessions.
Non formal methods of development.
• Methods:
– Development through self-study.
– Development through distance learning program.
– Development through professional associations.
– Development through mass media.
