Montalban Elementary School was the former name of the school. Then
in 1952 under the RA No. 2491 it was changed to Eulogio Rodriguez, Jr.
Elementary School in honor of the late Senator Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. for its
dedication in helping to improve the lives of the Montalbaneños. The deed of
sale of the land was turned over to Dr. Lea Atendido when our Local
Municipal Government bought it to provide more space for the building of
additional classrooms due to its fast increasing population. The school is
now considered as the Central school of the district with its dedicated and
hard working teachers. The school was able to produce excellent pupils who
are now excelling globally to different areas of industries. At present, ERES
has a total population of 3878 pupils with 90 teachers.
