Cloud computing concept :-

It is a technology based on transferring processing and

storing data from a specific server in a specific place to
the so-called cloud. What is meant by the cloud is a group
of Servers, often scattered over more than one geographic
location, are Accessed via the Internet.

Cloud Computing Elements

1- A personal computer or any smart

device.
2- Any operating system that allows access
to the Internet.
3- Internet browser.
4- Provide a high speed internet
connection.
5- A highly efficient cloud computing
service provider.
Types of cloud computing

Software as a Service
End Users
PaaS

Application
Platform as a Service SaaS Development

Infrastructure &
Network
Infrastructure as a Service IaaS Architects
Cloud computing providers
● Amazon Company It allows users to rent virtual machines on which they run their computer
applications and also provides a limited provision of applications by providing a
service Amazon calls a "model" that contains all the required software

● Rackspace Provides a cloud platform (cloud sites) on the network that is based on the
computing tool and also provides cloud file storage and infrastructure (cloud
servers).

● Google Google is best known in the cloud computing arena with its Google Docs and Google
Apps online editor for developing and hosting web applications in Google-powered
data centers.

● GoGrid It is a service provided by the cloud infrastructure that hosts virtual machines for
both "Linux" and "Windows", which is managed through a multi-server control
panel, and is based on the same hosting space

● Salesforce.com A cloud computing company headquartered in San Francisco, USA that distributes
commercial software to those interested in it and hosts various applications off-site
and is famous for its CRM products.
Skills required to use this technology
► Cloud computing technology cannot function without humans and IT professionals will
need to work more to provide essential business tasks.
► Most companies will run some technical component that resides in the cloud and others
out of it, which requires creative and productive service management collaboration between
internal and external teams.
► For example, some organizations will need to put some systems online, and network
engineers will also need to solve some problems in routing and management and meet
various challenges.
Cloud computing benefits

1- Cloud computing saves you money

2. Immediately Scalable and Pay-as-
Usage Resources
3. Competitive strategic advantage
4. High accessibility
5. Extremely fast performance
6. Get new apps up and running
quickly
7. Increase security
8. Provide more flexibility in work
9. Environmentally friendly
Benefits of cloud computing in education :-
1- Providing expensive textbooks to
students.
2- It is not required that the educational
materials be old.
3- Schools and students do not need to have
certain types of computers to access the
materials.
4- Reach out to a diverse group of students.
5- One of the cloud computing applications
is to secure data, and store all information
about the student in a secure manner
6- No need to carry devices such as CD-
ROM drives.
7- Download all the tools used in teaching,
and access them at any time
Example of Cloud Computing :-

Email services : Gmail, Yahoo , Hotmail

cloud storage services : Google Drive, Dropbox ,
Box, SkyDrive

cloud music services : Google Music, Amazon ,

Cloud Player, iTunes/iCloud

cloud apps : Google Docs, Photoshop , Express

cloud operating systems : Google Chrome OS ,
Jolicloud
Some stats about cloud computing :-

About a third of organizations have

added a cloud engineer/architect
and/or a cloud systems administrator
role to their departments.
Some stats about cloud computing :-

Less than half of all corporate

data is stored in the cloud, and
just under half of sensitive data is
encrypted.
Some stats about cloud computing :-

Staff training and budgets are the

biggest things holding companies
back from moving to cloud-based
security Solutions. There is also
concern about data privacy and
lack of integration with local
technology.
Results :-

1- Emphasizing that the establishment of a special building for information

systems requires large sums of money that may be an obstacle to digital

development.

2- Government institutions also suffer from well-defined digital development

plans.

3- The high rate of emergence of a broken system as a result of not bearing the

resulting pressure on the increasing demand for infrastructure capabilities.

4 . Experts and technicians unanimously agreed that there is no efficient

transmission unless there is high-speed data transmission on the Internet .

Conclusion :-

Computing System Cloud, like other technologies, contains pros and

cons, but in the field of education, in my estimation, it will be an
essential tributary of e-learning, especially mobile education and
pervasive education, and perhaps the only challenge that should be
overcome is the comprehensive coverage of the rapid access to the
Internet.
In order for the student to benefit from the applications that we will call
from now on cloud computing services
