     Airline management: Airline and airport
    management is the administration of airports
    and airlines. It includes the activities of setting the
    strategy of airports to gather and provide
    information on airline commercial and operational
    priorities. It is also studied as a branch of study that
    teaches management of airport and airlines.

     Airline is a company that provides air transport
    services for travelling passengers and freights
     Airlines use aircrafts to provide these services

     ICAO: international civil aviation organization, it
    is a specialized agency that changes the principles

     Low cost carrier: is an airline that is operated with an especially
    high emphasis on minimizing operating costs
     Ultra low cost carrier: ULCCs have both lower unit costs and
    revenues than LCCs or NLCs. ULCC presence in a market lowers
    fares more than LCC presence.
     Legacy: the network airlines are the mega-brands that have been
    around in one form or another since the dawn of commercial aviation
    Types of Airlines
     Major airlines: A major airline is defined as an
    airline that generates more than £1-billion in
    revenue annually for example AirBlue
     National airlines: Scheduled airlines which carry
    their nations identity. For eg PIA.
     Regional airlines: these airlines service particular
    regions of a country, filling the niche markets that
    the major and national airlines may overlook
    Services of Airlines
     Passenger handling: these include checking in
    passengers, baggage handling, making announcements,
    and assisting with boarding and security.
     Cargo services: carriage of goods luggage
     Combi carrier services: Combi aircraft in commercial
    aviation are aircraft that can be used to carry either
    passengers, as an airliner, or cargo as a freighter, and
    may have a partition in the aircraft cabin to allow both
    uses at the same time in a mixed passenger/freight
    combination
